Abortion Is an Abomination

Abortion is an abomination.

Abortion is infanticide - the murder of an infant. From the moment of conception, the new life is an infant in the earliest period of his unborn life and growing into a recognizable child.

We must not forget that Jesus loves children: “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” When parents brought their children to Jesus, the disciples told them to take their children away. But Jesus told His disciples to let the little children come to Him. He took the little children in His arms and hugged them. He also put His hands on them and prayed for them.

Jesus loves the little children - born...

and unborn...

Besides God is the Creator of life, not man.   And God had His idea about us and our mission before we were born. Indeed, God predestined each of us to a Divine purpose even before He formed us in the womb: “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee.”

Before I formed thee in the belly,

I knew thee;

and before thou camest forth out of the

womb I sanctified thee,

and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Jeremiah 1:5

Jeremiah was destined to be “a prophet unto the nations.” 

And we are all destined for a holy purpose. The Lord God is the Creator of all mankind, and since He does nothing without some purpose, for every one of us there is some holy purpose in life. That God predestines us from the womb to a holy purpose is a great mystery.  Nonetheless, it is our responsibility to find out what is God’s will for our life...and do it.  Specifically, it is our responsibility to accomplish what God has destined for our life. 

This should lead us to question ourselves:  Are we living in God’s will? Or have we aborted His plan for our life?   In other words, are we physically alive, but spiritually dead?

God has a Divine purpose for every person, even the baby in the womb.  

Who are we to abort the baby...and abort God’s plan for a life?

Jesus loves the little children – even the unborn babies.
