O Christian Pilgrim, “Be Ye Separate!”
by
Karen Pansler-Lam, J.D.
Today, true Christians are strangers and pilgrims in a New World…the New World Order, including the New Church Order.
Christian Pilgrims refuse to be unequally yoked with corrupt churches.
The Bible tells us that true Christians are “strangers and pilgrims on the earth” (Hebrews 11:13). True Christians do not feel at home in this wicked world because they are strangers. Matthew Henry comments: “They are strangers as saints, whose home is heaven; they are pilgrims as they are traveling towards their home, though often meanly and slowly.” The Christian Pilgrim is seeking his home in heaven; he is steadily and earnestly pressing onward to his Father’s house. The Christian Pilgrim is traveling the highway of holiness – the narrow way. And Christian Pilgrims are often tempted by corrupt church officials to leave the narrow way and follow the broad way. Corrupt church officials shout, “Leave the rugged, narrow way and walk the smooth, broad way with us. Be broadminded: there are many ways to God, all religions are equal, and there is no such thing as unholy worship if you’re sincere. We must offer worship to please men instead of offering worship to please God. Embrace us and embrace the world.” But Christian Pilgrims refuse to depart from the paths of righteousness and refuse to be unequally yoked with the corrupt church. In the days of old, the colonial Pilgrims fled to the New World to separate from a church corrupted by impure worship. And today modern Pilgrims are separating from churches corrupted by impure worship. The colonial Pilgrims were strangers in the New World. Today, true Christians are strangers and pilgrims in a New World…the New World Order, including the New Church Order. O Christian Pilgrim, obey God’s command: “Be ye separate” (2 Corinthians 6:17). Pilgrims in the New World; Pilgrims in the New World Order The early Pilgrims and modern Pilgrims share much in common. First, in the 1600’s, religious beliefs and political beliefs were very closely connected. And rulers did not think it safe for men to have independent ideas about religious worship. They believed if people refused obedience to the particular church established by law, they would disobey the law in other matters. In short, there was no separation of Church and State: the State ruled the Church. In England, the Church of England was the established church by law. English rulers forced the people to support the Church of England even if they disagreed with its forms and ceremonies and doctrines. For example, civil government enforced church attendance and church taxes. And civil judges had authority to punish those who broke the rules of the Church. Likewise, today, religious beliefs and political beliefs are very closely connected. Popular liberal political beliefs result in popular liberal religious beliefs and vice versa. For instance, the liberal political doctrine of redistribution of wealth has resulted in the liberal religious doctrine of the redistribution of wealth, or social justice. Corrupt civil government and corrupt church government force the humanist religion of humanitarianism (all religions are equal + social justice = world peace) on the people. Both civil government and church government use extreme license in interpreting all law, including Biblical Law, to indoctrinate us in their global purpose and plan of building a one-world government.
For example, to further their evil purpose, corrupt church officials endorse various modern Bible “translations” that conform to liberal political and religious beliefs. In fact, these new versions are not true translations. The truth is they are politically correct interpretations to advance humanist propaganda. The new versions are not Bibles; they are humanist manifestos. Both man’s law and God’s Law are interpreted in favor of license, not liberty. Remember…even the Devil quotes and purposely misinterprets Scripture to deceive us and bring us into the darkness of spiritual bondage. The modern interpretations are the Devil’s bibles. And like 17th century English government, our modern civil government does not think it safe for us to have independent ideas about true Christian worship. They believe if true Christians refuse to bow down to the many idols of multiculturalism (polytheism) we will rebel against the New World Order. Modern government is destroying the true separation of Church and State by uniting them into one evil entity; the State dictates that we accept the humanist religion of multiculturalism, or polytheism. To illustrate, the federal government demands that public education indoctrinate our children in multicultural (polytheistic) propaganda to enslave them to a global government and global religion. Public education, and many “Christian” schools, preach and teach social justice, all religions worship the same God, man must save himself through psychology and other pseudo-sciences, and other humanist propaganda. Education is indoctrination. Our children are not taught to recite reading, writing, and arithmetic...they are taught to recite humanist propaganda. In fact, today we are witnessing American government founded on the Christian religion of faith in God evolving into a government of the humanist religion of faith in man. The federal government dictates that all religions are equal. And Christians are being persecuted and forced to support the humanist religion of humanitarianism (all religions united under the banner of equality and tolerance) on the pretense of bringing peace to the world. Christian truths are now labeled hate speech and the government is slowly and subtly strangling our Christian freedom... In the 1600’s, the English Pilgrims fled to the New World so they could worship the Lord God in freedom. Unfortunately, modern Christian Pilgrims cannot flee to a New World. The
Puritans: Purify the Church of England Both Puritans and Pilgrims fled to the New World. We must remember the difference between them. Basically, the Puritans wanted to purify the Church; the Pilgrims separated from the Church. At that time, in England, the established church was the Anglican, or English Church, but many people objected to the forms and beliefs of this church. Some of these people formed a party within the church, calling themselves Puritans, because they thought that the Church of England needed to be purified. The Puritans thought that the English Reformation had not gone far enough in its separation from the Roman Catholic Church: there were many ceremonies and forms still retained in the worship which were too suggestive of papacy. For example, they wanted to purify the Church of the Catholic use of the cross in baptism, the clerical vestments, and other unscriptural forms. Incidentally, the papacy is like the ancient Pharisees who burdened men with unscriptural traditions. “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do” (Mark 7:7,8). The Puritans wanted to purify worship by excluding everything for which authority could not be found in the Bible, especially when these forms and ceremonies were obligatory for all and observance of them enforced by the civil authority. They did not object to the government of the Church of England or the close connection between Church and State or the doctrinal system, but objected to what they considered as the remnants of popery. They believed this unscriptural worship must be purified.
In sum, the Puritans believed the Church of England must be purified of unscriptural forms and ceremonies of the remnants of popery. They believed that the English Reformation did not wholly cleanse the Church of corrupt Catholic practices. Simply put, the Puritans demanded pure worship. The Pilgrims: Separate from the Church of England The Pilgrims were a separate group of Puritans. They believed the Church was too corrupt and could not be purified. The Pilgrims were also called Separatists because they separated from the Church of England. They refused to belong to the Church of England at all, and were looked upon as rebels against Church and State. Separatists were persecuted severely for not conforming to the Church of England: some lost their jobs, some were arrested, some were burned at the stake, and suffered other severe oppression. These Separatists were scattered in little congregations in certain parts of England, and during a period of persecution some of them fled to Holland, where they were allowed to believe as they pleased. Then in 1607, a tiny congregation at Scrooby, in Nottinghamshire, moved, first to Amsterdam and then to Leyden, in the Netherlands. After ten years, however, the leaders talked of moving to America. Work in Holland was hard and some of their young people were growing up Dutchmen instead of Englishmen. They did not approve of the religious views of the Dutch any more than they had approved of the Church of England. So they planned to find a new home where they could remain Englishmen and yet be free to follow their own religion and way of life. In 1620, the Pilgrims set sail for America in the Mayflower and settled at Plymouth, Massachusetts. The Pilgrims, or Separatists, separated from the Church of England before they came to America. The Pilgrims refused to be unequally yoked with the corrupt Church of England. The Pilgrims obeyed God’s command: “Be Ye Separate.” Modern Christian Pilgrims Today there are many modern Christian Pilgrims. Modern Pilgrims believe the church is too corrupt and beyond purification. Modern Pilgrims are Separatists and refuse to belong to corrupt churches that seek to please men instead of seeking to please God. They are looked upon as rebels against the New Church Order. Modern Christian Pilgrims are Separatists and refuse to belong to corrupt religious bodies that advocate joining with infidels to build a global government and global religion. Undoubtedly, Christians must seek unity. But the Bible admonishes us to keep the unity of the Spirit: one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father (Ephesians 4:3-6); and “be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind” (Philippians 2:2). This is unity in the Spirit of Christ. This is contrary to the unity of polytheism. Polytheism worships other gods; this is not unity in the Spirit. This is the spirit of antichrist. Modern Christian Pilgrims proclaim now is the time to separate from the polluted church government of the New Church Order and worship independently in free churches or home churches. Christian Pilgrims must be free from the control and influence and persecution of corrupt church government. Modern Christian Pilgrims are persecuted for refusing to conform to the New Church Order of uniting with infidels and false Christians.
Modern Christian Pilgrims are insulted and bullied.
Modern Christian Pilgrims are run out of their home churches.
As for persecution, true Christians who refuse to embrace Islam, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age Occultism, and other false religions are bullied, insulted, intimidated, belittled, slandered, and suffer other persecution. Corrupt church propagandists of the New Church Order label true Christians as “rebels,” “bitter,” “negative,” “intolerant,” and other derogatory terms for obeying the Biblical command of separating from the New Church Order/New World Order that is rebuilding the Tower of Babel. O Christian Pilgrim, we must obey God’s Law rather than man’s law. And God commands us not to be united or unequally yoked with unbelievers. We are commanded in the second letter to the Corinthians to be separatists: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord God Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6: 14-18 God commands us not to be yoked with unbelievers. An unbeliever is anyone who does not obey God’s Law. A true believer is one who obeys God’s Law. We have “received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ” (Romans 1:5,6). All those who disobey the faith are spiritual outlaws and are not part of the Kingdom of God. “For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified” (Romans 2:13). God commands us not to unite with infidels. We are to separate from infidels and false Christians because they are are the spirit of antichrist. O Christian Pilgrim, obey God’s command: “Be ye separate.” Christian
Pilgrims Do Not Seek the Friendship of the World
Modern Christian Pilgrims – true Christians who obey the command “Be ye separate” - are refugees in a strange land…the New World Order. Christian Pilgrims spiritually separate themselves from the world. They do not seek the friendship of the world because the world is corrupt. In order to be a friend of the world, we must compromise our belief in the Truth and betray Jesus Christ. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. James 4:4 Like the Pilgrims of old, we must separate ourselves from this corrupt world, including corrupt churches. This does not mean we should not expose and denounce the corruption. We must separate ourselves from the corruption and not partake of it. We are in the world, but not of the corruption of the world. We do not run and hide from the world. Ye
are the light of the world. A
city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither
do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but
on a candlestick; and
it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may
see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 Good works is Christ-like character, being conformed to His image. Good works is evidence of repentance and righteousness. Good works is fruit unto holiness (Romans 6:22). Good works is not dead works - false repentance. “Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves” (James 1:22). And remember Christ’s words to those who boast of good works but continue in sin: “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:23). We are sanctified of the Spirit unto obedience (1 Peter 1:2). We must only unite with those who are purified and sanctified and separated unto holiness. But not all professing Christians are Pilgrims. Only true Christians are Pilgrims. The word “pilgrim” means a sojourner in a strange place. As multiculturalism has quashed the rightful rule of Christian truths replacing them with the humanist religion of multiculturalism/polytheism, America has become a nation of foreign religions united against Christianity. True Christians are now sojourners in a foreign country. America is no longer a Christian nation. America is now a heathen nation. America has become a foreign nation to Christians. The best way to revive America’s Christian heritage is to call backsliding America to repentance through evangelism. Backslidden Americans need to be baptized with the Holy Ghost, and fire. Fire purifies. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. Matthew 3:11 When individual hearts and minds and souls are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, the heart of the nation will be purified and transformed. Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. Isaiah 26:2 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. Hosea 4:6,7 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 The truth is…righteous people will have a righteous nation. And corrupt people will have a corrupt nation. The truth is…righteous people will have a righteous church. And corrupt people will have a corrupt church.
Be Ye Separate
The Bible tells us we are “strangers and pilgrims on the earth” (Hebrews 11:13). The colonial Pilgrims fled to the New World to separate from a church corrupted by impure worship. And modern Christian Pilgrims are fleeing corrupt churches to separate from church officials who offer worship to please men instead of God and who unite with infidels to build a global government and global religion. Christian Pilgrims are gathering in Jesus’ name in independent churches, including home churches, to worship in Spirit and in Truth. Christian Pilgrims refuse to be unequally yoked with infidels...
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord.
Only the faithful Pilgrims who heed His voice and obediently separate themselves from the corruption of the church and the world will inherit the Kingdom of God. O Christian Pilgrim, obey God’s command: “Be ye separate.” Liberty
