An open letter to Americans - black and white.
November 2008
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who is
the Father of us all.
I have a just and honest question to ask my fellow
Americans: Did black Americans vote for Obama because of the color of his
skin?
If black Americans voted for Obama because of the
color of his skin, then they are just as sinful as white racists and
should be publicly reprimanded by both political and religious leaders.
The truth is that any black American that decries whites as
racist and voted for Obama because of the color of his
skin; that black American is a racist and a hypocrite.
Jesus admonishes us in Matthew 7:1-5:
1
Judge not,
that ye be not judged.
2
For with
what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete,
it shall be measured to you again.
3
And why
beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest
not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4
Or how
wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull the mote out of thine eye; and,
behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5
Thou
hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou
shalt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
Notice that Jesus does not say we should not judge
others; Jesus says we should not be hypocrites. Listen closely to what
Jesus says: “First
cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou shalt see
clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.”
Simply put, do not condemn someone as a racist if you
are a racist. And black Americans that voted for Obama
because of the color of his skin are racists.
Now let me
make say this loud and clear:
It is a
sin for black Americans to be racist.
There is no black Bible for black Americans; there is
no white Bible for white Americans. There
is only one Bible. And the Bible – the Law of God – commands us:
“Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew
22:39). This is the second New Testament commandment. It’s not a suggestion. It’s a command. Jesus' command to love
thy neighbor as thyself applies to blacks loving their black neighbor and
their white neighbor. There can be
no double standard for black Americans.
It
is sinful for white Americans to be racist.
It
is sinful for black Americans to be racist.
White
theology is racist.
Black
theology is racist.
White
theology is unbiblical.
Black
theology is unbiblical.
However, because of slavery and other past wrongs
against blacks, black theology preaches that blacks are entitled to a hateful racist theology. But
a professing black Christian that preaches or believes black theology is
walking in spiritual darkness: A black racist is a false Christian.
The Bible tells us in 1 John 2:9 -11 that he that hates his brother
is in darkness:
9
He that
saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even
until now.
10
He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none
occasion of stumbling in him.
11
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness,
and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness
hath blinded his eyes.
Therefore, a black American must love his white neighbor as
he loves his black neighbor. Sadly, instead of preaching the true Gospel
of love and forgiveness, black theology preaches a hateful gospel of
bitterness and unforgiveness. Black theology is a hateful racist theology
of victimization and vindication that disobeys the Bible.
Furthermore, ministers must never preach or teach any
theology. Theology is the
word of man. Ministers must
preach the Gospel – the Word of God.
The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ must never be replaced by black
theology, white theology, or any other -ology. Just as lawyers must
argue their cases based on man's law, ministers must preach their sermons
based on God's Law. And God's Law commands us to love our neighbor as
ourselves.
I have repeatedly denounced white supremacy in
“Michael Jackson is Our Brother,” “Religious Rebels,” and other
messages. And justice demands
that I denounce the hateful racism of black theology because there is no
double standard for black Americans.
Moreover, black theologians talk as though no white
person ever stood up for black equality.
Are they ungrateful for the many whites who championed the cause of
blacks?
Are black Americans ungrateful for Harriet Beecher
Stowe’s anti-slavery novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin that fueled the
abolitionist cause in the 1850s?
Are black Americans ungrateful for William Lloyd
Garrison’s anti-slavery paper the Liberator that for more than
three decades passionately spoke out against slavery and for the rights of
America's blacks?
Are black Americans ungrateful for the 360,000 Union
soldiers that died in combat, or from injuries sustained in combat,
disease, or other causes; and the 280,000 that were wounded on the
bloody battlefields of the Civil War to free their black ancestors from the
bonds of slavery?
Are black Americans ungrateful that I suffered
humiliation, suffered loss of income, and suffered from hateful lies because I stood up and spoke out against a Neo-Confederate white
supremacist history curriculum?
Are black Americans ungrateful for the long, long hours and
hours and hours I spent writing articles denouncing white supremacists?

Clearly, black theology is a hateful
dogma of ingratitude and hypocrisy. The truth is that a black
American that voted for Obama because of the color of his skin is a
racist. In the words of Christ, "Thou hypocrite."
Serving our Lord Jesus Christ,
Karen
