Ecumenism: Unholy Unity

Ecumenism is worldwide unity among religions. 

Ecumenism is unholy unity with false religions.

Ecumenism is the foundation of a one-world religion.

Ecumenism is the spirit of anti-Christ.

Ecumenism will usher in the Antichrist.

Ecumenism and World Peace

False Christians pervert the Gospel of salvation into a gospel promising world peace through ecumenism, the worldwide unity of all religions.  False religious leaders promise that if we reconcile our religious differences and unite with false religions this will bring peace on earth.  Of course, “reconcile our religious differences” really means we must back down and bow down to other gods by repeating the Devil’s creed:  All religions are equal. We all worship the same god.

False Christians preach that Jesus’ mission was to bring peace on earth.  But Jesus never preached world peace and unity.  In fact, Jesus declared the Truth would divide families and nations:

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
I came not to send peace,

but a sword.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,

and the daughter against her mother,

and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Matthew 10:34-37  

And ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

And then shall many be offended,

and shall betray one another,

and shall hate one another.

Matthew 24:9, 10

The truth is…sinners will be offended and hate us for preaching in Jesus’ name.

The truth is…hypocrites will be offended and hate us for preaching in Jesus’ name.

The truth is…Muslims and Jews and Hindus and Buddhists and all other unbelievers will be offended and hate us for preaching in Jesus’ name.

Those who hate the Truth are offended by the Truth.

Jesus never preached a gospel urging unity with false religions to usher in world peace.  And Jesus never stopped preaching the Truth because it offended the hypocritical scribes and Pharisees, hardhearted Jews, infidels and the multitudes.

But today false religious leaders deceive many Christians into believing that the Gospel must never offend infidels. In fact, false leaders like Rick Warren teach the religious humanist doctrine that Christians must reconcile their differences with false religions, including Islam, to bring world peace.  Warren claims the god of Islam is the God of Israel. This is a devilish lie! And Muslims deny that Christ was the Word made flesh (John 1:14)!  Muslims deny Jesus is the Christ.  And Muslims claim Mohammad came to correct Jesus’ false teachings.  Irrefutably, Islam is the spirit of antichrist!

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?

He is antichrist,

that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 2:22

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ

is come in the flesh is not of God:

and this is that spirit of antichrist,

whereof ye have heard that it should come;

and even now already is in the world.

1 John 4:3

And Warren advocates an unholy unity with the spirit of antichrist!

There is not one Scripture in the Holy Bible advocating unholy unity with the heathen. On the contrary, there are many Scriptures commanding us to be separate from unbelievers:

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:
for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?

and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial?

or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?

for ye are the temple of the living God;

as God hath said,

I will dwell in them, and walk in them;

and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them,

and be ye separate, saith the Lord,

and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

And will be a Father unto you,

and ye shall be my sons and daughters,

saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

Listen…the apostate church  - the Great Whore of Babylon in the Book of Revelation – is seducing Christians with the devilish doctrine of unholy unity with those who hate Jesus Christ.  This religious reconciliation is the unity of all religions into a one-world religion.  And this one-world religion headed by the apostate church will usher in the Antichrist!

We are warned…

Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins,

and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Revelation 18:4

Don’t be deceived by the false promise of world peace through ecumenism.  This unholy unity is not the Spirit of Christ.  It is the spirit of antichrist.

Irrefutably, the Bible teaches there is only one true unity:  unity of the Holy Spirit.

True Unity: Unity of the Holy Spirit

Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit

 in the bond of peace.

There is one body,

and one Spirit,

even as ye are called in

one hope of your calling.

One Lord,

one faith,

one baptism,

One God and Father of all,

who is above all,

and through all,

and in you all.

Till we all come in the unity of the faith,

and of the knowledge of the Son of God,

unto a perfect man,

unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

Ephesians 4:3-6,13

True Christians can never have true unity with false Christians and infidels. 

True Christians and false Christians and infidels are not one spirit.  True Christians are in the unity of the Holy Spirit.  False Christians and infidels are in the unity of the spirit of antichrist.

Listen…there can be no true unity with infidels because we are not in the unity of the Spirit.  Christians are sinners saved by grace unto sanctification.  True Christians are doers of the law, not hearers only because they have true faith: they are faithful, or obedient.  True Christians are united in the body of Christ – the true and faithful Church. 

True unity is being in one accord: the same mind and same judgment.  

Now I beseech you, brethren,

by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

that ye all speak the same thing,

and that there be no divisions among you;

but that ye be perfectly joined together in the

 same mind and same judgment.

1 Corinthians 1:10

Hence…

True believers are of one heart and one soul…

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul.
Acts 4:32

True believers are of one mind and one mouth glorifying the Lord God…

That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God,

even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:6

True believers stand fast in one spirit with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel…

Stand fast in one spirit, 

with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.

Philippians 1:27

True Christians can never have true friendship with hypocrites or infidels because we are not like-minded.  We are not one spirit.  We are not of the same mind or same judgment.

And we must never unite with the spirit of antichrist.

False Unity: 

Unity of the Spirit of Antichrist

Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, occultists and others hate Jesus Christ.  They are the spirit of antichrist.

And false Christians who deny the power of the Holy Spirit and/or teach seducing doctrines of demons such as eternal security, salvation without sanctification, and other devilish doctrines are the spirit of antichrist. 

To digress briefly…false preachers like Jimmy Swaggart preach the doctrine of eternal security.  They argue that by holding onto a mere thread of professed faith in spite of evil acts, we have eternal security.  This is a devilish doctrine contrary to the Holy Bible. Christ is the author of eternal salvation “unto all them that obey him.”  God has chosen us to “salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:13).  The Bible clearly warns us that only the doers of the law shall be justified:

For not the hearers of the law are just before God,

but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Romans 2:13

The doers of the law are justified because as they obey the Truth, they overcome sin:

Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,

perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Corinthians 7:1

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things,

be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace,

without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:14

Once we profess faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we must be sanctified: "Ye must be born again" (John 3:7).  If we are not sanctified unto righteousness, our name is blotted out of the Book of Life.

He that overcometh,

the same shall be clothed in white raiment;

and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life,

but I will confess his name before my Father,

and before his angels.

Revelation 3:5  

If we profess we know Christ but don’t keep His commandments, we are liars…

He that saith,

I know him,

and keepeth not his commandments,

is a liar,

and the truth is not in him.

1 John 2:4

The truth is Swaggart and other evildoers hate the light because it exposes and reproves their wicked deeds. They hate condemnation:

And this is the condemnation,

that light is come into the world,

and men loved darkness rather than light,

because their deeds were evil. 

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light,

neither cometh to the light,

lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:19,20  

Take heed, Jimmy Swaggart…

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received

the knowledge of the truth,

there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

But a certain fearful looking for of

judgment and fiery indignation,

which shall devour the adversaries.

Hebrews 10:26, 27

Woe unto you, Jimmy Swaggart, you deceive the people with the seducing doctrine of eternal security!  Your condemnation shall be great!

By the way, many denominations that deny the power of the Holy Spirit and teach eternal security have church leaders and members in bondage to Freemasonry, the spirit of antichrist.  This unholy union results in unholy doctrine and unholy living!

We can’t be friends of Jimmy Swaggart and of Jesus Christ.  Jimmy Swaggart despises righteousness and holiness and expresses great contempt for those who are living testaments of sanctification. He glares at the camera and roars like a lion at sanctified Christians: “self-righteous.”  He hates true Christians who obey God’s Law: “Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). We must not unite with wicked preachers like Swaggart who pretend to be friends of God, but are really friends of the world.

The Bible declares that whoever is a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Ye adulterers and adulteresses,

know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?

whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

 James 4:4

Don’t unite with hypocritical preachers like Swaggart who openly deny and despise holiness. These false preachers are not Christian brethren.  They are Christian hypocrites!  They hate the true Jesus who calls us to repentance and righteousness and holiness.

And don’t unite with infidels who openly profess hatred of our Lord Jesus Christ and His followers.

And don’t unite with false religious leaders teaching seducing doctrines of demons such as all religions are equal - we all worship the same God.  For instance, these wicked men preach that Allah is the same God of the Old Testament.  This is a lie.  Besides, the Bible clearly warns us that there are many deceivers in the world who teach Jesus Christ is not the Son of God.  “This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” 

For many deceivers are entered into the world,

who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.

This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Look to yourselves,

that we lose not those things which we have wrought,

but that we receive a full reward.

Whosoever transgresseth,

and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ,

hath not God.

He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ,

he hath both the Father and the Son.

If there come any unto you,

and bring not this doctrine,

receive him not into your house,

neither bid him God speed:

For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2 John 7-11

John commands us not to receive deceivers into our houses.  And don’t bid them God speed.   Take heed, if we wish them success, we are partakers of their evil deeds!

Likewise, we must not receive the message of deceivers into our houses.  In other words, don’t read their deceitful books, don’t watch their deceitful TV programs, don’t send them money for their deceitful missions, and so forth. 

And we must not receive deceivers into the Lord’s House.  In other words, we must bar the church door against the deceiver and all his deceitful messages in any form: books, sermons, magazines, DVDs, and so forth. 

If we help the deceiver by words or acts of encouragement, we are partakers of his evil deeds.  For example, if we attend a church that promotes and supports Rick Warren and his false gospel of religious reconciliation, we are partakers of his evil deeds.

Take heed…if you support this unholy unity, you are a partaker of their evil deeds - including ushering in the Antichrist.

Peace on Earth

Ecumenism will not usher in world peace.  It will usher in the Antichrist.  And the Antichrist is not the Prince of Peace.

There is only one Prince of Peace – Jesus Christ.  And there will be peace only when Jesus returns to reign over the earth.  

For unto us a child is born,

unto us a son is given:

and the government shall be upon his shoulder:

and his name shall be called

Wonderful,

 Counsellor,

The mighty God,

The everlasting Father,

The Prince of Peace. 

Of the increase of his government and peace

 there shall be no end,

upon the throne of David,

and upon his kingdom,

to order it,

and to establish it with

 judgment and with justice

from henceforth even for ever.

The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 9:6,7

Take heed, saints…

Don’t depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils:  Ecumenism, or a one-world religion, will bring world peace.

And do not wish deceivers success…do not be partakers of their evil deeds.

Ecumenism is an unholy union with false religions to usher in the Antichrist.
