Dark Secrets: Exposing Secret Cults by Karen E. Pansler-Lam, J.D.
The Neo-Confederates, Ku Klux Klan, and Freemasons are rooted in the occult; therefore, they are anti-Christ.

According to law enforcement and intelligence agencies, the Neo-Confederates are the fastest-growing hate and terrorist group in Florida.
An Unholy Confederacy I was dumbfounded when I saw my name in the following web site listing:
You see my name, don’t you? “Karen E are now interred in Section "K" of ... dead, and are Roman - $14 Pansler $18 Union.” Did you notice that I am "dead"? I knew that it must have something to do with my message about the Neo-Confederates: “Religious Rebels.” And, yes, I was born in the North, so I understood “Union.” However, I have lived in the South for over forty years; I love the South and southern culture. For example, Southern gospel is my favorite music. But why am I “Roman”? I am not of Italian descent.
Next, I clicked on the web site address. It was an “advertisement” for Halloween costumes; specifically, confederate soldier costumes. However, it was an “ad” with several phrases from “Religious Rebels” interspersed among mumbo jumbo about black cats, Halloween, Egypt, clowns, and so forth – some sort of secret code. When I read this, it confirmed my earlier suspicions that the Neo-Confederates are in an unholy confederacy with witchcraft. I was never able to access the “advertisement” again; fortunately, I saved it. See it for yourself - Click here. Pay particular attention to the section "Playtime Outfits for Boys - Boy Costumes." We'll talk more about this later. So, what first made me think that Neo-Confederates are in an unholy confederacy with the occult? Well, Halloween weekend in October 2004, a student - we’ll call him “Gomez” - was participating in a Neo-Confederate living history re-enactment at an old city graveyard. In this small graveyard, there are about four hundred people buried beneath very old moss-covered oak trees. Black Confederate iron crosses mark the graves of about forty Confederate soldiers buried there. Gomez asked me if I would come and hear his presentation at the re-enactment. I asked him what his presentation was about. “Witchcraft,” Gomez unexpectedly blurted out. He looked bewildered at this surprising outburst, and asked the young man beside him, “Why did I say witchcraft?” His friend shrugged his shoulders. Gomez exclaimed, “Miss Pansler, I don’t know why I said ‘witchcraft.’ I’m giving a presentation on early African-American children’s games.” Needless to say, this outburst about witchcraft deeply troubled me. I was distraught that students were possibly unknowingly participating in black magic. Since Gomez invited me to attend, I went to the re-enactment. He was very eager to give his presentation. So, he excitedly handed out slips of paper to young students from a nearby church daycare attending the re-enactment. Next, he handed out small sticks. Then he instructed the children to read aloud the words and pass the sticks at the same time. When all of them started chanting the unintelligible words, I was horrified. I looked at my friend and said in a low voice, “It sounds like an incantation – like witchcraft.” She nodded. I prayed for those unsuspecting children the whole time they were at the re-enactment. After the children walked on to take a tour of the historic cemetery, I remained behind and asked Gomez nonchalantly, “What is the meaning of the words of the game?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “I was just told it’s an early African-American children’s game.” I dropped the subject and complimented him on his fine presentation. Later, I discussed the game with my friend. We recalled that early American slaves often practiced voodoo, and concluded that this student was unknowingly practicing witchcraft. It made me heartsick. Later, at dinner one evening, I recounted this incident to friends. Mona informed me that all secret cults like the KKK, Neo-Confederates, and Freemasons originated from the occult. “What? I never heard that,” I remarked. To be perfectly honest, I’ve never really given witchcraft and the occult much thought – until now. What caused Gomez to blurt out the dark secret that he was unknowingly practicing witchcraft? Why is my name in an occult advertisement that is written in secret code? Are they just coincidental extraordinary incidents or providential firsthand experience? Of course, they’re providential firsthand experience to reveal the horrifying dark secret that the Neo-Confederates and other secret cults are rooted in the occult - the pit of hell.

Dark Secrets in the Dark Shadows of Deceit
Deep down in the dark secret chambers of the pit of hell, the devil and his demons plot, scheme, conspire, and secretly plan to recruit us for their devilish cause. Yes, Satan has disciples just as Christ has disciples. Christ’s disciples preach the truth; Satan’s disciples preach lies. Christ urges us, “Follow Me.” Satan urges us, “Follow me.” Whom will we follow? We have free will to choose which master we will serve: the Light of the world, or the prince of darkness.
Christ, the Light of the world, calls us out of spiritual darkness and into the light of truth. Christ brings to light the truth, the whole truth. He reveals there’s a heaven; He warns us there’s a hell. He reveals the road to heaven is narrow; He warns the road to hell is broad. He reveals we must repent if we want forgiveness and eternal salvation; He warns us without true repentance we face eternal damnation. Christ doesn’t keep dark secrets. Christ does not keep us in the dark.
On the other hand, the devil, the prince of darkness, keeps us in the dark. The devil doesn’t tell us the whole truth; the devil keeps dark secrets. Of course, the devil does not want us to believe in hell. In the dark shadows of deception, the devil whispers softly in our ear, “Don’t worry, there’s no hell. Follow me.” In the dark shadows of deception, the devil whispers softly in our ear, "The commandment ‘Love thy neighbor as thyself’ only applies to our white neighbors.” Yes, the devil and his demons try to bedevil, bewitch, charm, enchant, and delude us. Since the prince of darkness wants our soul, he lures us with promising temptations, but double-crosses us every time.
The devil lurks in disguise in the dark shadows of deception so we will not recognize him. Yes, the devil is the master of masquerade to deceive us into worshipping him because he wants to be our god. And the devil practices the black evil art of deception to bewitch us into following him into the deep, dark depths of the black abyss of hell. What devilish disguises does Satan wear to bewitch us? Well, picture this in your mind: In an old, old cemetery on Halloween night, in the dark shadows of old moss-covered oak trees, in the dark shadows of weathered old tombstones, and in the dark shadows of black Confederate crosses, the Neo-Confederates in Confederate costumes gather for a “candlelight vigil” for the dead Confederates. Now, is it Confederate patriotism to hold a “candlelight vigil” in a graveyard on Halloween night, or is it ancient Celtic pagan spiritualism disguised as modern Confederate patriotism? As you know, Halloween is related to an ancient festival. In Britain the Druids celebrated a festival at this time in honor of the sun god in thanksgiving for harvest. The Druids were sorcerers who were the priests of the ancient Celtic peoples, especially those of Britain and Gaul. So, the Celtic religion was rooted in witchcraft or sorcery – black magic. The Celts venerated nature and their worship was carried on in groves or lodges. Additionally, and this is very important to remember, the ancient Celts were a warring people and worshipped many gods. In particular, Celts held warriors in great regard; therefore, there were many Celtic warrior and battle gods. It is important for us to understand that Neo-Confederates venerate the Celts and the Celtic culture. To repeat, it is crucial to remember that ancient Celts were a warring people and held warriors in great regard; therefore, there were many Celtic warrior and battle gods. That is why the “candlelight vigil” on Halloween night reminds me of the title of the Civil War movie that Neo-Confederates idolize: Gods and Generals. This movie deifies Confederate generals. To a devout Neo-Confederate, the Civil War generals were gods, not mere men. Watch and listen closely to a devout Neo-Confederate talk about the Civil War Confederate generals: he worships them. The Neo-Confederates deify Confederate generals; they are their warrior and battle gods. And, sadly, the Neo-Confederates believe the death of their gods and ancestral heroes during the Civil War must be vindicated by secession or violent liberation - a second civil war. Simply put, the Neo-Confederates are a warring people that glorify warfare and worship Confederate generals; just as the Celts were a warring people that glorified warfare and worshipped warrior and battle gods. In other words, the Confederate generals are Neo-Confederate warrior and battle gods. Neo-Confederate veneration for Confederate generals is rooted in the dark ancient pagan Celtic worship of warrior gods; therefore, it is anti-Christ. Neo-Confederates are modern pagans. Neo-Confederates are neo-Druids. Neo-Confederates are modern idolaters. However, they are cleverly disguised as patriotic Christian Confederates.
Devilish Deadly Deception
Another illustration of the devilish deception by the Neo-Confederates is their living history re-enactments. Naturally, they want us to believe they are just honoring Southern Confederate heritage and Confederate soldiers by teaching “the truth” about the history of the Civil War. Of course, their “truth” is dark, hateful lies. You see, their interpretative history of the Civil War is racist and biased: pro-white, anti-black, pro-slavery, secessionist, anti-federal government, and anti-North. The Neo-Confederates spew forth black-hearted lies disguised as "the truth.” As I said in “Religious Rebels,” Neo-Confederates are sneaky, cunning, and clever. Their living history re-enactments are really covert recruiting programs to enlist us for their dark evil cause of secession or liberation (terrorism). Granted, they’re too clever to openly admit this; however, once in a while a Neo-Confederate divulges this dark secret. For example, David Riker reveals the dark truth about living history in “Hillsborough Living History.” Riker writes, “The concept of using this type of event to recruit young minds interested in learning the truth to be new recruits paid dividends in that it looks like Company K may have picked up at least two new rifles.” www.floridareenactorsonline.com/AprilMag12002.htm. Here it is, in a Neo-Confederate officer’s own words, the living history program as objective education and entertainment is a lie. It’s a recruiting tactic for “the truth,” or Neo-Confederate propaganda. By the way, Riker is a Lt. Did you notice the difference between the 2003 and 2004 write up for the living history program? The 2003 article was openly braggadocios, but the 2004 article was very secretive in giving out information. Why the big difference? Because in 2004 Liberty Advocate began to actively protest these Neo-Confederate events sponsored and funded by Florida local and state government. The Polk County living history school program was initiated by David Riker, who is employed by the School Board of Polk County as the history teacher at the boot camp. Do you remember Riker is a Lt. Colonel in the Confederate States of America, a Neo-Confederate group linked to militia leaders and militia ideology? Do you remember Lt. Colonel Riker's words about the living history program as a recruiting tactic: "using this type of event to recruit young minds interested in learning the truth to be new recruits"? What is "the truth"? Of course, Neo-Confederate lies. (See "Religious Rebels.") Again, remember Riker is an officer in a Neo-Confederate group linked to militia leaders and militia ideology; and he repeatedly uses the word recruit. In other words, according to Riker, living history programs are covert recruiting tactics for the Neo-Confederates. And did you notice that juvenile felons - criminals - from the Polk County Juvenile Boot Camp participate in this program? Wake up, Florida! No wonder the Neo-Confederates are the fastest-growing hate and terrorist group in Florida!
Now getting back to Halloween, is it Confederate patriotism to hold a “candlelight vigil” in a graveyard on Halloween night? Or, is it ancient Celtic pagan spiritualism disguised as modern Confederate patriotism? Is it for entertainment and historical purposes only? Or, are real Neo-Confederate militias intermingled with innocent re-enactors? Are the Neo-Confederates using battle re-enactments to secretly train unsuspecting re-enactors for guerilla warfare? Never forget, Neo-Confederates are cunning. Neo-Confederates are clever. Neo-Confederates are subversive. Are historical battles disguised as entertainment really militia training for premeditated murder? Are the Neo-Confederates openly training for guerilla warfare to slaughter us – their neighbors? “Love thy neighbour as thyself”? You know what guerilla warfare is: independent patriotic or revolutionary soldiers recruited from specified areas who commit sudden acts of terror to immobilize and isolate the superior forces of an occupying nation. They work quickly, then scatter. The Neo-Confederates actually believe the South is currently an occupied nation; and they know that guerilla warfare has been a successful terrorist tactic throughout history. Guerilla warfare is subversive. Guerilla warfare is chaotic. Guerilla warfare is based on secrecy, deception, and terror. Guerilla warfare is carried on by black-hearted, bloodthirsty terrorists. Neo-Confederates are bloodthirsty to turn the South into Pandaemonium, the capital of Hell in Milton’s Paradise Lost. Thankfully, during the Civil War, General Robert E. Lee rejected pandemonium for peace. Lee refused to engage in guerilla warfare because he had the wisdom to know guerilla warfare would devastate Virginia and the Union. Lee knew guerilla warfare would probably destroy the nation forever. Consequently, Lee rejected guerilla warfare against the wishes of Jefferson Davis and his advisors. Indeed Lee was a remarkable man for courageously advocating peace and refusing pandemonium. Lee admirably surrendered his army and saved the nation. In contrast, Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederate States of America (1861-1865), advocated guerilla warfare. Davis asserted the Southerners knew the countryside and advocated bushwhacking – fighting as a guerrilla in the back country or bush. Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forest also advocated guerilla warfare. In fact, Forest assembled his own battalion and paid for it. He was such an innovative and ruthless fighter hell-bent on dark vengeance that Union General William Sherman called Forest “the devil.” Advocates of guerilla warfare such as Davis and Forest wanted to inflict incessant terror on the people, and turn our nation into a slaughter field. Unfortunately, some of the new Confederates - Neo-Confederates - zealously embrace guerilla warfare. The Neo-Confederates want to turn the United States into another war-torn Ireland. Oh, yes, they assert they only want peaceful secession; but, that’s only half the truth. The other half is kept in the dark: if peaceful secession fails, then they will use liberation - a polite term for terrorism. Their own words are quoted in “Religious Rebels.” However, since the publication of that message, many have “updated” their web sites by taking out any mention of violent liberation. They are trying to conceal this dark secret that has been revealed. Are you still not convinced the rebellious Neo-Confederates are dead serious about their deadly revolution? Well, while protesting the Neo-Confederate events mentioned earlier, I received e-mail indirect death threats. However. . .
Yes, friends, the Neo-Confederates are a warring people that are dead serious about keeping their deadly secrets in the dark. They practice devilish deadly deception.
O Foolish Celtic Galatians
Do you remember Neo-Confederates idolize the warring Celts and Celtic culture? Apparently, the Celts have been warring spirits throughout history. Is it because paganism has had a stronghold on the Celts through the ages? Grolier Encyclopedia (c. 1957) enlightens us about the Celts and that the Apostle Paul preached to Galatia, a Celtic colony:
The original European habitat of the Celts embraced wide lands on both banks of the upper Danube – the heart of modern Germany. About 400 B.C. the Celts, then at the height of their power and banded together in tribes in a loose confederacy presided over by an ard-righ, or crowned supreme military commander, invaded Italy, stormed and sacked Rome, and founded important settlements in the northern part of the peninsula, when they long threatened the Roman power. About the year 300 B.C., however, the subjugated Teutonic tribes inhabiting the German lands taken by early Celtic conquest rose against their oppressors and succeeded in pushing them westwards. The same movement which drove the Celts from the upper reaches of Danube gave rise to other charges affecting the distribution of their power, of which the most important were their invasion of Macedonia, their plundering of the temple of Delphi, and their subsequent foundation of the province called after them Galatia, in Asia Minor. It was to this Celtic colony that S. Paul addressed one of his epistles. (Emphasis added.) First, notice that the Celts banded together in tribes in a loose confederacy presided over by a crowned supreme military commander. We have a similar situation today except that the Neo-Confederates are still looking for their supreme military commander. However, they have already banded together in militias to form a loose confederacy; and their mission is to advance militant Christianity by force. Next, notice that just as I am preaching to the Celtic culture today, Paul preaches to the Celtic culture in Galatia. Galatia means Gaul, and the Gauls of Phrygia are the Galatians of Paul’s letter. The Gauls are closely related to the Celts. Apparently, false teachers in Asia Minor are deceiving Gentile Christians into believing they must adopt and observe the ritualism of Jewish fasts and feasts. Of course, this is a denial of work of justification by faith. Moreover, Galatia is prominently a heathen city and the heathen priests dominate the people binding them to the practices of a ceremonial law as rigid as that of the Jews. Consequently, the Galatians are enslaved to ritualistic observances because of their past pagan ceremonialism. However, Paul wants to set the Galatians free from the bondage of ritualism and ceremonialism. In fact, Paul is so distressed that he writes the letter instead of dictating it to someone else and writing only the concluding salutation. Notice, Paul writes with strong feeling and anger at the deceivers and is genuinely concerned about the deceived. Paul exclaims at the beginning of his epistle to the Galatians:
Clearly, Paul feels strongly about false teachers who lead us astray. He condemns them: “let him be accursed.” These are strong words of condemnation because heresy is a sin against God. Heresy is a sin against the soul. Heresy is a sin against the truth. Heresy is a sin against the Church. Heresy is a sin against the world. Because those who preach the evil false doctrines of heresy lead us into spiritual darkness, they are cursed. About halfway through the letter Paul asks, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?” (Galatians 3:1). No doubt, Paul purposely used the word bewitched. Later in the letter, Paul even mentions witchcraft as one of the works of the flesh (5:20). It was as though some one had cast an evil spell on the Galatians. Of course, evil powers cannot cast spells on true Christians, but they can lead us astray by deluding us with devilish doctrines. Paul wonders, “Who hath bewitched you?” Who was envious of the influence of the Crucified One over the Celt Christians? Who offered false representations to lead them secretly back into the dark shadows of ritualism and ceremonialism? What flattering devilish promises were offered that darkened their doctrines? Still, Paul holds the Galatians accountable for being deluded, and calls them foolish: “O foolish Galatians.” The strong words of Paul show that he was distraught and warns them not to be again entangled with the yoke of bondage of ceremonies because the Gospel is superior to the Law. Paul also preaches that Jesus is not solely the Messiah and Saviour of the Jews, but Jesus is also the Messiah and Saviour of the Gentiles: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). In other words, the Gospel is for Jew and Gentile, freeman and slave, man and woman. Toward the end of his letter, Paul exhorts: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1). Paul does not want the Galatians bewitched into believing we must submit to the dark bondage of ceremonialism and ritualism. Of course, false teachers are very deceptive and often cleverly cloak their false gospel with Scripture. Even Christ warns us of the deception of false prophets in Matthew 7:15. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. So, Christian, beware! Beware of false teachers who preach paganism cloaked as Christianity! Listen, we must be vigilant. We must stand fast. We must be strong to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11): For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Unquestionably, we are wrestling against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Like it or not, we are engaged in a spiritual battle, and the devil uses unconventional warfare. The wiles of the devil are subversive. The wiles of the devil are cunning. The wiles of the devil are tricks to bewitch us into worshipping him. Beware, lest we are asked on Judgment Day, “Who hath bewitched you?”
Idolatry in Ancient Egypt
Of course, the wicked devices of the devil have bewitched man since the beginning of time. But, let’s travel back to ancient Egypt. While enslaved in Egypt, the Hebrews were exposed to Egyptian pagan religion which was rooted in sorcery or the occult. In ancient times, Upper and Lower Egypt were the earliest known nations. Then with the union of these two kingdoms, civilization arose. It is possible that during this time, organized pagan religion was established. Polytheism was the ancient belief of Egyptians, and their religion involved complicated cults and rituals. Magic was not separated from religion; they were united in an unholy confederacy. In fact, most of ancient Egyptian religious writings were the unintelligible spells of the Book of the Dead and later works such as Book of the Underworld, the Book of the Gates, and the Book of Breathings. Pagans chanted hymns to their greatest god, the sun-god. Moreover, their most splendid temples were built for worshipping the sun-god; and the pyramid is a symbol sacred to the sun-god. Freemasons, are you listening carefully? In early Hebrew history, after Moses delivered the Jews from bondage in Egypt, they soon turned their backs on God and made and worshipped a golden calf or bull while Moses was on Mount Sinai. Aaron proclaimed to the Jews, “These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt” (Exodus 32:4). The Jews had been exposed to pagan religion in Egypt, and sometimes animals were symbols of divine beings. For example, pagans revered the bull as a sacred animal. Unfortunately, instead of looking forward to the Promised Land, the Hebrews looked back and longed for Egypt. They really did not want freedom from religious bondage; they merely wanted freedom from physical bondage. However, when God delivered them, He set them free from both physical and religious bondage. God commanded that they leave all pagan practices behind in Egypt because He did not want paganism polluting the Promised Land. Notice, God is so adamant about this that He makes it the first commandment in the old covenant: And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Exodus 20:1-6 Regrettably, the Hebrews kept reverting to idolatry. They refused to break the chains of spiritual bondage to pagan gods after God set them free. Even though the Hebrews left all pagan idols behind in Egypt, they still carried away Egyptian idolatry in their hearts. Needless to say, if the Egyptians knew this, it probably pleased them greatly. Just think how they must have felt when the Jews they had enslaved for four hundred years were set free. Their free workers were gone! They must have been devastated. But they probably rejoiced every time they heard of the Hebrews backsliding into idolatry: You can take the Hebrew out of Egypt, but you can’t take Egypt out of the Hebrew! In the Old Testament, the Jews are God's chosen people and He covenants with their race alone. However, God eventually divorces Israel because she is repeatedly unfaithful to the covenant. In other words, when Israel separates or divorces herself from God by committing idolatry or adultery, she breaks the covenant; therefore, God is under no obligation to keep His promises. Yet, God has compassion on His “wife” Israel, and calls “her” back to be faithful (Isaiah 54) as a bridegroom delights in his bride (Isaiah 62:4, 5). Nevertheless, the Jews repeatedly break the covenant, and eventually break the covenant permanently when they reject God’s son, Jesus Christ. Because they reject the truth and crucified Christ, they are no longer God’s chosen people. Throughout Jewish history, the Hebrews repeatedly committed adultery or idolatry. For example, Ezra indignantly pleaded: “Now therefore make confession unto the Lord God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives” (Ezra 10:11). Naturally, intermarriage with the heathen women, “the daughters of a strange god,” would bring many things into the marriage and tribe, including idolatry.
Sadly, today the Neo-Confederates, Ku Klux Klan, and Freemasons have intermarried Christianity and paganism. They have intermarried devilish doctrines with the Gospel. They do not love God with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their mind. They have allowed love for other gods to creep into their dark hearts. They have committed adultery or idolatry. Their adultery or idolatry is a deliberate violation of the greatest commandment of the new covenant proclaimed in Matthew 22.

Ancient Evil in Modern Times: Druidism
Let’s quickly move forward in time from Biblical Jewish history to the history of the ancient Celtic Druids in the British Islands. At this time, the British Islands were split up between numerous Celtic chiefs in Ireland and Scotland and Wales who fought and succumbed to each other. As discussed earlier, the Druids were sorcerers who were the priests of the ancient Celtic peoples, especially those of Britain and Gaul. So, the Celtic religion was rooted in witchcraft or sorcery – black magic. Druidism was a pre-Christian religion that worshipped wells and fountains, and trees and standing stones. Because the Celts venerated nature their worship was carried on in groves, called lodges. Druids also sacrificed humans at special festivals by various wicked devices: being impaled, shot with arrows, or burned in wicker cages.
Nigel Pennick has studied and practiced “indigenous” (pagan) European spiritual traditions for over thirty years. In his book, The Sacred World of the Celts, Pennick explains that the Druids taught that the Gallic race descended from Dis, the supreme god of the Gauls. Dis was lord of the underworld. Listen carefully, Christians: In Britain during the Roman domination, the Romans virtually exterminated the Druids. The Romans bitterest opponents were the Druids - the Celtic pagan priests who were sorcerers. It’s important for us to understand that the bitterest opponents of the Roman invaders were the Druids because Roman Christianity suppressed their occult religion. The last stand of the Druids in Britain was at Mona, or Anglesey, when the Romans exterminated them and destroyed their sacred groves. As a result of being exterminated in Britain, Druids are mainly heard of in Ireland, where they are associated with witchcraft and sorcery. Basically, in ancient Britain, Scotland, and Ireland there was not only a political, military battle taking place; but also a powerful spiritual battle: the power of Druidism versus the power of Christianity. Am I a “Roman” because I’m a defender of the Gospel of Christ fighting the revival of Druidism? Revival of Druidism? Yes. Nigel Pennick proclaims: “Though influenced by other conquering cultures such as the Romans and the Christians, Celtic languages and beliefs have survived for 2700 years, and are in the midst of an unprecedented revival.” (Emphasis added.) Why is there a revival of Celtic spirituality and culture? First, practicing Celtic spirituality and culture is blatantly preached by followers such as Pennick in The Sacred World of the Celts. Second, a Celtic revival is also propagated by Neo-Confederate theology and ideology. For instance, in the eighteenth century, the Irish developed a new-found pride in Irish traditions; and looked back to ancient paganism for reforming the nation. They looked to ancient Irish sagas that celebrated the ideals of a military aristocracy. Now doesn’t this sound like the militaristic Confederate nationalism of the New Confederacy? As explained in “Religious Rebels,” the New Confederacy would be a military state. Furthermore, Pennick asserts the ancient idea of Ireland as a holy island, independent of outside control, emerged from this new understanding of cultural identity in the eighteenth century. Remember that the Neo-Confederates believe the Confederate South is a holy land, and should be independent from the nation and the federal government. Since they believe they have a mission from God to liberate the Southern holy land, they are conspiring secession or liberation. Moreover, their theology is an unholy union of Coptic Christianity, Druidism, and Roman Christianity. To explain, after the conquest of Druidism and the victory of Roman Christianity, the Church of Ireland didn’t look to the Church of Europe for guidance, but to the Coptic Church of Egypt. The Coptic Church is the Christian Church of Egypt believing in the Monophysite doctrine: Christ had a single, divine nature. So, the Celts integrated Druidism, Egyptian Coptic Christianity, and Roman Christianity. As a result, Celtic Christianity marries the Coptic Christianity of Egypt with Druidism and Roman Christianity. It is an unholy union. Is Egypt important in this unholy union? Black Deeds Cloaked Beneath White Robes
We need some knowledge of ancient pagan rites and rituals so we can unmask paganism. For example, the worship of idols under oak trees is an ancient pagan practice. Even the Bible mentions this practice in Ezekiel 6:13:
Then ye shall know that I am the Lord, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savor to all their idols. Throughout history, the oak tree has been held sacred by pagans. More specifically, for our study of secret cults, the oak was the sacred tree of the Druids, and the oak-grown mistletoe played an honored part in their rites. The Celts venerated nature and their worship was carried on in groves (lodges). By the way, according to the dictionary, one of the definitions of lodge is “one of the branches of certain secret societies; the place where it meets.” To get back to the ancient Druids’ worship of the oak tree, one of their rituals was a Druid dressed in white cut the oak-grown mistletoe with a golden weapon. Then it was received from the tree on a spotless cloth by another Druid, and taken away by white oxen. The first image that comes to mind about the ancient Druid clothed in white is the Ku Klux Klan. Remember the Druids were priests who practiced sorcery or witchcraft. Interestingly, Klansmen dress in white robes like the Druids and wear hats resembling that of a wizard: a male witch or sorcerer. And Klan names such as Grand Dragon and Grand Wizard are from sorcery or black magic - the worship of the devil and evil spirits. Besides, the Bible calls Satan the “great dragon”: "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him" (Revelation 12:9). Notice that Satan is said to deceive us. Briefly, the Ku Klux Klan was a secret cult organized by Confederates in the South after the Civil War to reassert white supremacy using terrorist methods. General Nathan Bedford Forest was the first Grand Wizard; he claimed to rule the South or “Invisible Empire.” As you recall, General William Sherman called Forest “the devil” because of his ruthless fighting during the war. Not surprising, each member of the Klan was called a Ghoul. The Klansmen rode about in the dark of night disguised in white robes and carrying skulls with coals of fire for eyes. They whipped and even killed leading carpetbaggers and blacks. However, in 1871-72 laws were passed to suppress the KKK and other oppressive secret cults. By the way, in Gaul one of the Celtic sacrifices was that men were hanged on trees sacred to Esus and stabbed. As you know, the KKK hanged thousands of blacks. Then in 1915, another secret cult, the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, was founded and modeled after the first secret cult. Today the KKK still uses terrorism to bully and oppress those they feel are culturally or racially inferior. Specifically, they hate their black brothers and sisters; thus, they are walking in spiritual darkness. 9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. 1 John 2: 9 – 11 Moreover, the KKK asserts they are still rulers of the invisible empire. That’s why they use titles such as Imperial Wizard. Yes, they are rulers of the invisible empire - the invisible evil empire. But Christ is the Ruler of both the invisible and visible empire; Jesus Christ is the Lord of lords and the King of kings. The KKK carries a cross and cloaks their evil black deeds beneath white robes because they have been bewitched. O foolish Klansmen, who has bewitched you? Let him be accursed. Just as the KKK dresses in white robes to hide their evil black deeds, another secret cult that dresses in white robes is the Freemasons. Charles Finney, the great nineteenth century preacher, was a Freemason. However, he renounced and denounced this evil secret cult. Notice the Royal Arch Mason swears to keep secret all crimes - including murder and treason! Clearly, masonic oaths are a pact with the devil. Unfortunately, many politicians, judges, law enforcement officers, and other public officials are masons and conceal the crimes of their brethren. Imagine the government cover-ups as a result of these devilish oaths! No wonder there is so much political corruption in our local, state, and federal government! To repeat, masonic oaths are a pact with the devil.
As we learned earlier, Druidism is an ancient pagan religion that venerates nature and worships in groves (lodges). As you know, masonic buildings are called temples or lodges. Any secular building called a temple should keep every professing Christian from darkening its doors. Many former Christian churches are bought by masons and converted into masonic temples and lodges. This is profane! Think about it: churches that were once consecrated to God are sold to masons that re-consecrate them to Satan. Surely Satan must laugh and laugh and laugh. And have you noticed there are no windows in the lodge room where masons conduct their bizarre rites and ceremonies? Everything is done in darkness.
Moreover, the masons’ Druidic origins are obvious because of their bizarre rites, oaths, rituals, and ceremonies. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica (c.1933), many masonic ceremonies and practices resemble the rituals of ancient religious ceremonies, particularly the initiatory rites and ceremonies of Indian races, the Druids, and other ancient pagan religions. Are you listening carefully, Freemasons? To illustrate, William Schnoebelen, a former witch and Freemason, explains a masonic ritual in Masonry: Beyond the Light. The mason is blindfolded, led around the Lodge, and violently accosted by three men. Then he is bashed on the head by a cushioned hammer or maul that causes him to fall violently backward into a makeshift trampoline. Next, he is pushed along as a dead body, “buried” twice and finally “raised” by the strong grip of a Master Mason and given the secret Master’s Word, “Mah-Hah-Bone,” in a low breath, pretending to be King Solomon. After “dying” with the Masonic “christ” (actually Ba’al or Tammuz), he is raised with him. Schnoebelen explains that this act is a blatant recreation of the ancient pagan sex-cult resurrection rites, and a mockery of the Lord’s resurrection and baptism. Clearly, masonry is the worship of Baphomet - the god of Baal worship. The worship of Baal or Baphomet was established among the Moabites and the Midianites in Moses' time (Numbers 22:41), and through these nations the Israelites were seduced to Baal worship (Numbers 25:3-18; Deuteronomy 4:3). Today God's people are still being bewitched by the prophets of Baal - the Freemasons. Unquestionably, Freemasonry is paganism. For example, all devotions in the masonic temple or lodge are facing east. In fact, a masonic ritual boldly proclaims: As the sun rises in the east, to open and govern the day, so rises the Worshipful Master in the east, to open and govern his Lodge, set the craft to work and give them proper instructions. Now, any Christian should discern that the “Worshipful Master in the east” is a pagan sun god. Schnoebelen explains that in early Biblical days, the Lord deliberately had the temple rites performed facing west, away from the rising sun, which was the chief symbol of the pagan gods at that time. Yes, bizarre ceremonies are performed at an altar in the masonic temple or lodge. There are many other bizarre rituals, but this message is just a brief overview of the Freemasons’ occult practices. Legend ascribes the origin of the word freemason to an incident connected with the building of Solomon's Temple; and Freemasons venerate King Solomon for building the great Temple at Jerusalem. If you recall, after the prophet Nathan died, Solomon built shrines to heathen gods. Consequently, Solomon invented spells and charms (including the famous seal of Solomon) that are supposed to have power over disease and evil spirits. Later, medieval magicians made Solomon a patron saint of magic. In fact, the Star of David is the seal of Solomon that was a magical symbol used to invoke the spirits during medieval times. Are you listening carefully, Freemasons? Not only is Freemasonry rooted in the occult, it has ties to Islam. In the 8th century, Muslims overran the Moroccan city of Fez and butchered 50,000 Christians. The streets ran red with blood. The Muslim murderers dipped their caps in the blood of the Christians in honor of Allah. These blood-stained caps were called fezzes, idols dedicated to a false god (Satan). Are you aware that masons wear a fez, a felt cap, usually red and ornamented with a long, black tassel, formerly worn by the Turks? Schnoebelen points out in his book that the most obvious masonic connection with Islam is the Shrine. The actual title of the Shriner organization is the "Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine." The Shrine initiate must swear an oath on both the Bible and the Koran, the holy book of the Islamic faith:
Listen, Freemasons, Paul warns us: "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils" (I Corinthians 10:21). So, take heed, we cannot worship at the altar of God, and at the altar of devils. And it is no surprise that the Freemasons have ties to the Ku Klux Klan. According to Schnoebelen, Albert Pike became a mason in 1859, and became the highest mason in the United States in his day. Pike then served as a general on the side of the Confederacy in the Civil War even though he was born in Boston. After the war, Pike helped create the KKK. Blacks are forbidden in Freemasonry because of their slave ancestry. A candidate must be a "man, free born, of good repute and well recommended." This rule forced blacks to adapt their own form of masonry called the Prince Hall Masonry. Freemasons have different orders. One order of the Freemasons - Knights Templar - claims it descended from the medieval knights of the Crusades. As you recall, the Crusaders in the Middle Ages vowed to recover the Holy Land from the infidel Turks and wore the Cross on their garments as a sign of their Christian faith. In about 1118 a religious and military order called Knights Templar was founded in Jerusalem to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the second Crusade. The Knights Templar was accused of immorality and heresy and was suppressed in 1312. Of course, today Knights Templar alleges it’s a Christian secret society. Naturally, no secret society can be Christian because Christians are not children of the darkness; they are children of the light. In Oxford, a lodge of Celtic spirituality called the Mount Haemus Grove was founded or refounded by Haymo of Haversham in 1245 and reactivated about 1694. Pennick asserts, “There have been Druidic groups in Britain ever since.” Well, we know that there are Druidic groups worshipping at Druidic altars in America today. However, Americans secretly worship at altars in the dark of masonic temples and lodges. Just as Ireland is strewn with ancient Druidic stone altars for the solemn pagan ceremonies of the ancient Druids, America is strewn with altars in masonic temples for the solemn pagan ceremonies of modern Druids - Freemasons. O Freemasons, who has bewitched you? Let him be accursed. The Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Confederates, and Freemasons all descended from Druidic paganism which goes back to ancient Egyptian sorcery and witchcraft. They may worship God, but they also worship other gods. They are idolaters. They cloak their evil black deeds beneath white robes and are walking in spiritual darkness.
Salem: Black Lies, the Devil’s Vomit
Undoubtedly, since ancient days the devil tries to lure us into spiritual darkness. Evil spirits wait silently in the dark shadows to sneak out in another cunning disguise to deceive us. They confront us under the guise of truth and don’t reveal their black lies. Black lies spew forth from the devil. Black lies are the devil’s vomit. Just as the Hebrews tried to prevent witchcraft and sorcery from polluting the Promised Land by establishing laws against witchcraft, New England Puritans tried to prevent witchcraft and sorcery from polluting America - the new Promised Land - as evidenced by the Salem witchcraft trials. First, let’s go back to Boston in 1689 where there lived an Irish slave woman, Ann Glover, and her daughter, a laundress. Allegedly thirteen-year-old Martha Goodwin caught Ann's daughter stealing laundry. According to Reverend Cotton Mather, the head of the Puritan church in Boston, Ann Glover came to her daughter's defense. Ann and Martha argued vehemently. Apparently, Ann used very strong language and immediately Martha began having fits like those of epilepsy. Days later, Martha’s younger brother and two sisters also began strange behavior. So, Ann was arrested and tried for bewitching the Goodwin children. Surprisingly, during the trial, Ann refused to speak English and spoke Gaelic only, a Celtic language. Reverend Mather claimed Ann confessed she was a witch. Ann was hanged. Incidentally, before Ann's husband died, he complained that she was a witch. Ann Glover was born in early 17th century Ireland. Is it possible that Ann practiced an ancient pagan religion she learned in Ireland? Is it possible that while Ann argued with Martha, she called on evil spirits to torment the young girl? Here is an interesting excerpt about Ann Glover from Cotton Mather’s Memorable Providences, Relating to Witchcrafts and Possessions (1689): Order was given to search the old woman's house, from whence there were brought into the Court, several small Images, or Puppets, or Babies, made of Rags, and stuffed with Goat's hair, and other such Ingredients. When these were produced, the vile Woman acknowledged, that her way to torment the Objects of her malice, was by wetting of her Finger with her Spittle, and streaking of those little Images. The abused Children were then present, and the Woman still kept stooping and shrinking as one that was almost pressed to Death with a mighty Weight upon her. Was Ann practicing witchcraft? Witchcraft is sorcery or black magic by those in league with the devil or other powers of darkness, and old pagan religions are rooted in witchcraft. Now let’s travel on to Salem Village in 1692. On January 20th, nine-year-old Elizabeth Parris, daughter of Reverend Samuel Parris, and Abigail, her eleven-year-old cousin, began having fits of convulsions. These children claimed that an invisible hand was pinching them, leaving red marks all over their bodies. The girls blamed three townswomen for casting evil spells on them: Tituba, the Parris' slave from the West Indies; Sarah Good; and Sarah Osborne. On February 25, Tituba, baked a “witch cake” and fed it to a dog. According to an English folk remedy, feeding a witch cake to a dog that contains the urine of the afflicted counteracts the spell put on Elizabeth and Abigail. The cake was fed to a dog because the dog is believed to be a “familiar” of the devil. Tituba was accused of practicing voodoo, or black magic and confessed to being a witch. She claimed that a man dressed in black came from Boston and urged her to write her name in his black book. Remember Ann Glover lived in Boston. Then accusations of other villagers practicing witchcraft and sorcery gushed forth like black vomit spewed out of the mouth of a demoniac; and the trials resulted in the hanging of nineteen accused of being witches. If you recall, the Puritans came to America because they believed the Church of England needed purified. The Puritans wanted the Church to return to its early Christian roots of the simplicity of the faith once delivered to the saints - Christianity purified of needless ceremonialism. So, their mission was to uproot the Church from false ceremonialism and plant the New England Church in the true Gospel. And anytime, anywhere Christians plant the Gospel, Satan tries to supplant it. Is it possible Satan plotted to uproot Christianity and plant witchcraft in New England? Is it possible that slaves in Salem like Tituba, practiced voodoo - a form of primitive sorcery that originated in Africa? Maybe Tituba played voodoo games with the Puritan children and repeated incantations, spells, and other words of black magic "in fun.” So, it’s possible that Tituba chanted words of evil in fun, but with deadly consequences: nineteen people were accused of witchcraft and hanged. Do we truly understand the power of the spoken word? Listen carefully, there’s power in spoken words. That’s why we have to be so careful about the words we speak aloud. Think about it, how do witches and sorcerers cast spells: through the spoken word – incantations, spells, and chants. Evil knows the power of the spoken word. Therefore, Christians, we need to understand the power of the spoken word. Christ teaches us that through the power of the spoken word, we have power over evil – all evil. Christ healed the demoniacs by the spoken word - commanding the demons to leave the afflicted. And Christ has empowered His followers with power vested in His name because He alone is omnipotent or all-powerful. On the other hand, Satan does not have equal power with God. Satan is not all-powerful; Satan has limited power. And Satan is tormented day and night because he is a lesser power; Satan is tormented day and night because Christ has given us authority over the devil and his evil disciples:
I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you Luke 10:18, 19
Never forget, the devil’s disciples always spew out a black vomit of lies, deception, slander, and other malicious deeds from the bowels of hatred to create hostility - to pit neighbor against neighbor. By the way, the word "devil" comes from the Greek diabolos meaning accuser or slanderer. The devil’s disciples form an evil confederacy to destroy families, communities, and nations. “For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land” (Psalm 35:20).
Listen, something evil was definitely going on in early Salem. Were witches working to prevent the Puritans from planting the pure Gospel in America? Was there a witch lurking in the dark shadows of this quiet village recruiting young and old for an unholy confederacy with the devil? Were the young girls of Salem bewitched? I wonder . . .
Who Has Bewitched You?
The devil always wears a bright smile while bewitching us with dark deception. And he often wears a white robe to hide his black evil heart. Long ago, the Druids stained their white robes with the blood of human sacrifices to unholy gods on unholy altars. Then in later centuries, the Crusaders stained their white tunics with the blood of thousands of men, women, and children killed in their unholy crusade of spreading the Gospel with the sword of the flesh, not the sword of the spirit. Much later, the early Knights of the Ku Klux Klan stained their white robes with the blood of men and women they killed out of contempt for the dark color of their skin. And the black bile of racism today still defiles their heart and results in violence against their fellow man. The white robes of the KKK are stained with the blood of men and women they have murdered in spirit and in flesh in their unholy acts of terror. And the Neo-Confederates cleverly disguise their dark evil deeds by exchanging the white robes of the KKK and the Freemasons for Confederate costumes.
