AN OPEN LETTER TO EVANGELICAL CHURCHES IN AMERICA
February 2020
Dear Evangelical Churches in America:
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and Savior. It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you. And you are puffed up, and have not mourned. Specifically, there are unwed couples in your churches living in sin. But you remain silent. For example, in a newspaper article about the first baby born in 2020 in a small rural county in the North Georgia mountains, the unwed mother calls her son a miracle baby because she supposedly could not get pregnant. She thanks God that now she has a family with her boyfriend! She says her faith gave her a blessing – a baby. But God never blesses sin. God never blesses fornication! A baby born out of wedlock is a bastard, not a blessing. God commands that children be born in lawful wedlock. And He intends that they be given the best home – a true Christian home. And a true Christian home is a man and a woman united in holy matrimony.
Listen, Evangelicals…
God never condones and blesses fornication!
God never condones having bastard children!
This is not a true Christian family.
But many “Christian” unwed couples proudly announce the birth of their illegitimate babies in the newspapers!
And instead of counseling these couples to repent and marry, you wink at sin and give them baby showers!
You prefer to offend God rather than offend rebellious false Christians who openly defy the divine institution of marriage. These unsanctified couples are sacrilege in the sanctuary.
It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you… And ye puffed up, and have not rather mourned. Put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Corinthians 5:1,2,13
Winking at Fornication
This small rural North Georgia county is not churchless. If anything, the county is overchurched: new churches are opening while churches with small congregations struggle to stay open. Baptists are most numerous (almost equally divided between Southern Baptist and independent); Methodists rank next; then Churches of God third; and interdenominational churches are strong. Unfortunately, most of the old and all of the new Evangelical churches offer the worldly worship of the New Church Order. And they don’t preach against sin (“don’t judge”); they preach good works. They replace holiness with humanitarianism.
Every week in the local newspaper, several articles proudly announce the evangelical churches’ good works. But half or more of the births published proudly announce the birth of illegitimate babies – bastards! The evidence is published in the newspapers: sin abounds in these churches that boast of their good works! To please man and his wicked desires, they allow sin to abound in their congregations, including winking at the sin of fornication. These churches are guilty of unclean hands in the destruction of the Biblical family as ordained by God. Yes, they may be anti-abortion, but at the same time, they are pro-fornication, which often results in unwanted babies. These churches are guilty of winking at rebellion against the God-ordained institution of marriage.
O Evangelical churches, who has deceived you into winking at fornication?
Rick Warren and other false religious leaders have deceived you!
In the August 18, 2008, issue of Time magazine, the cover story heralds “The Purpose Driven Pastor: Rick Warren – America’s most powerful religious leader takes on the world.” According to the article, Warren is “both leading and riding the newest wave of change in the Evangelical community: an expansion beyond social conservatism to causes such as battling poverty, opposing torture and combating global warming.” And he has shifted away from “sin issues” – like abortion and gay marriage – and is more interested in questions that are “uniting” such as poverty, HIV/AIDS, climate change and human rights. (See "Wake Up, Evangelicals!" @ http://libertyadvocate.com/message28.htm)
O Evangelicals, when you shift away from “sin issues” you shift away from the true Gospel preached by Jesus Christ…
Except a man be born again,
he cannot
see the kingdom
of God.
So, what does it mean to be born again? Read carefully and thoughtfully Matthew Henry's entire comment on Jesus' words...
[1.] What it is that is required: to be born again; that is, First, We must live a new life. Birth is the beginning of life; to be born again is to begin anew, as those that have hitherto lived either much amiss or to little purpose. We must not think to patch up the old building, but begin from the foundation. Secondly, We must have a new nature, new principles, new affections, new aims. We must be born anoµthen, which signifies both denuo—again, and desuper—from above. 1. We must be born anew; so the word is taken, Gal. 4:9, and ab initio—from the beginning, Lu. 1:3. By our first birth we are corrupt, shapen in sin and iniquity; we must therefore undergo a second birth; our souls must be fashioned and enlivened anew. 2. We must be born from above, so the word is used by the evangelist, ch. 3:31; 19:11, and I take this to be especially intended here, not excluding the other; for to be born from above supposes being born again. But this new birth has its rise from heaven (ch. 1:13) and its tendency to heaven: it is to be born to a divine and heavenly life, a life of communion with God and the upper world, and, in order to this, it is to partake of a divine nature and bear the image of the heavenly.
Clearly, Jesus teaches unless a man is born again, he cannot see or enter into His Kingdom:
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5
Again, thoughtfully read Matthew Henry's comments...
[2.] The indispensable necessity of this: "Except a man (Any one that partakes of the human nature, and consequently of its corruptions) be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God, the kingdom of the Messiah begun in grace and perfected in glory.’’ Except we be born from above, we cannot see this. That is, First, We cannot understand the nature of it. Such is the nature of things pertaining to the kingdom of God (in which Nicodemus desired to be instructed) that the soul must be re-modelled and moulded, the natural man must become a spiritual man, before he is capable of receiving and understanding them, 1 Co. 2:14. Secondly, We cannot receive the comfort of it, cannot expect any benefit by Christ and his gospel, nor have any part or lot in the matter. Note, Regeneration is absolutely necessary to our happiness here and hereafter. Considering what we are by nature, how corrupt and sinful,—what God is, in whom alone we can be happy,—and what heaven is, to which the perfection of our happiness is reserved,—it will appear, in the nature of the thing, that we must be born again, because it is impossible that we should be happy if we be not holy; see 1 Co. 6:11, 12.
To repeat, Jesus declares: "Ye must be born again."
Notice, Jesus says we must be born again, not we should be born again. It is a requirement, not a suggestion. It is absolutely necessary if we are to be called one of His own.
When we are born again, we become new creatures in Christ. And by the power of the Holy Spirit we are purified and sanctified and perfected. We are being perfected to spend eternity in the presence of the Lord God Almighty.
Born-again Christians are not whores. Born-again Christians are not fornicators.
There is no such thing as a Christian whore There is no such thing as a Christian fornicator.
But Rick Warren and other false Christian leaders have hoodwinked you into winking at sin – including fornication among you!
O Evangelicals, it is reported commonly that there is fornication among you. And you wink at sin, and have not called sinners to repentance and marriage. You deliberately disobey the express command of the Bible that fornicators are not to be part of the church.
But instead of preaching repentance, you preach the hippie theology “don’t judge.” Hippie Christianity insists that we should not preach or witness to sinners. In other words, if you’re preaching to them, then you’re judging them. This is part of their “don’t judge” theology. Of course, the 60s hippies practiced hypocrisy: when they were shouting “don’t judge” they were denouncing – judging – the “Establishment” and every institution, including the Church.
In fact, Paul reproves the Corinthians for their lack of wisdom to judge small matters in the church.
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? 1 Corinthians 6:2,3
Paul says if you can’t judge small matters, you’re unworthy to judge the world and judge fallen angels.
Saints shall judge the world! Now how can saints judge the world if we don’t know and obey God’s Law? That is why we must be diligent students of the only authoritative law – the Bible. The Bible is authoritative law that governs the body of Christ. In other words, God’s Law governs the body of Christ, including discipline. And in plain language, Paul declares the authority for judging and church discipline:
But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Corinthians 5:11-13
Clearly, Paul is declaring the church has the authority and jurisdiction to judge and discipline professing Christians in the church. Paul commands us: “Put away from among yourselves that wicked person.”
Listen, Evangelicals…
It is your God-given duty to either cast out unwed parents, or instruct them to repent and marry as commanded by God.
If you don’t instruct unwed parents to repent and allow them to remain in the church, then you will be held accountable to God for winking at their fornication and rebellion against the divine institution of marriage.
The Divine Institution of Marriage
In the beginning the marriage institution was ordained of God in Eden. The purpose of marriage is to promote public order and personal well-being; to prevent fornication; and to bring up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Marriage is a loving relationship established by mutual agreement or a covenant. A Christian husband and wife mutually consent to unite into one family. They agree to unite in love, interests, and actions. They consent to establish a loving, godly home to fulfill their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. The marital bond joins them together in both physical unity and spiritual unity. Unquestionably, the bedrock of the true Christian home is Christ. The true Christian couple wisely builds their house upon the Rock – the Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore
whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them,
And the rain
descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat
upon that house; Matthew 7:24, 25
A true Christian home is where Christ is the Head and the Heart of the family. The true Christian family loves and obeys the Lord. Their words and their actions prove a loving obedience to the Head of the house. “For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified” (Romans 2:13). Therefore, godly parents will instruct their children in the laws and statutes of God, and they will be a godly example of righteousness. Obeying God’s Law is not legalism! It’s holiness and righteousness! Christ lived among us to teach and preach and be an example of holy living according to God’s Law. Holy living reflects the highest moral standards as clearly expressed in the Bible. Because Christ represents the highest moral standards – God’s Law – Christians must reflect the highest moral standards. Christians must lead holy lives...
Be ye holy; for I am holy.
On the contrary, immoral parents can neither instruct their children in the way of righteousness, nor be a godly example of holiness. To argue that an immoral person can be a model of holiness is ludicrous. Specifically, to argue that a fornicator can be a model of holiness is ludicrous. It’s a devilish lie. But devilish anti-establishment theology has corrupted Evangelical churches and incited a rebellion against the divine institution of marriage. False Christians shake their fists heavenward and defy God’s divine institution of marriage and live in whoredom, rebelling against God’s Law of holy matrimony. They may loudly profess they are Christians, but their lives of rebellion are evidence of their deep-seated hatred of righteousness and holiness. And to hate righteousness and holiness is to hate God; for God is holy. And these rebels will raise children who hate God and His Law unless a grandparent or someone else who truly cares for their souls leads them to Christ.
Jesus Loves Children Jesus loves children and wants them to have the best possible home. There are two sorts of children: legitimate and illegitimate, or bastards. A legitimate child is one that is born in lawful wedlock. The legal duties of parents to legitimate children are three: maintenance, protection, and education. A bastard is one that is not only begotten, but born, out of lawful matrimony. Under the old English common law, the civil and canon laws did not allow a child to remain a bastard if the parents afterwards intermarry; but the law made it an indispensable condition, to legitimacy, that the child shall be born after lawful wedlock. It explained that the main end and design of marriage was to ascertain and fix upon some certain person to whom the care, the protection, the maintenance and the education of the child should belong. Just look around at the large number of unwed couples with babies who do not marry! Who ends up supporting the children? One parent or grandparents or the government! Jesus loves children and wants them to have the best possible care, protection, maintenance and education. Only a true Christian home can do this. And a true Christian home is founded on holy matrimony. Do you love children? Then listen closely… The young children of Bible-believing parents (those who obey the Word) belong to the kingdom of heaven, and are members of the visible church. In a true Christian home, children are part of the kingdom of God until the age of accountability. Then if they rebel against their Christian training, they are no longer one of His children. The age of accountability differs for each child depending on their maturity. Therefore, the children of unbelieving parents do not belong to the kingdom of heaven. Unbelieving parents may profess they are believers, but outright disobey God’s laws and commands, including rebelling against the divine institution of marriage. Those who attend church and profess to believe in God and pretend to have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, but rebel against God’s laws and commands are pretenders – hypocrites. And hypocrites are not true Christians.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Fatherwhich is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils?and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23
Religious good works will not get us into heaven. Jesus warns those who walk in sin: “I never knew you: depart from me.”
There is only one way to heaven…
Ye must be born again. John 3:7 Born-again Christians obey God’s divine institution of marriage and do not live in fornication; and they do not have children out of wedlock. Since unwed parents are filthy hypocrites and not part of the kingdom of God, neither are their children. For how can the children be holy if the parents are unholy – hypocrites? Again, that is unless a Christian leads the child to Christ. There is no such thing as a holy hypocrite. Again… There is no such thing as a Christian whore. There is no such thing as a Christian fornicator. If unwed parents don’t love each other enough to get married, then the child was born out of lust, not love. And the truth is… If unwed parents truly love their illegitimate baby, they will repent and get married. They will sanctify – make holy – their unholy “family.” They will get married and unite together to provide the best possible home for the child – a true Christian home. Jesus loves children…
Suffer
little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me:
Church of God or Synagogue of Satan? A church that accepts unwed parents as a true Christian family is not a true church. It is a synagogue of Satan. And God’s Law, as clearly expressed in the Bible, condemns fornicators: they shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Fornicators will be judged, found guilty, and sentenced to hell (Revelation 20:11-15). Yes, this is the Law of God as recorded in God’s Word – the Bible. To repeat… The Bible clearly warns us that unrepentant fornicators shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven. It is written…
Know ye not that
the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Anyone who argues that unrepentant fornicators are true Christians is calling Paul a liar. Anyone who argues that unrepentant fornicators are true Christians is calling the Bible a lie. In plain and simple language, the Bible expressly condemns fornication...
Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord;
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is
in you,
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body,
It
is written… But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints. Ephesians 5:3
It is written…
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience. Colossians 3:5,6
The Bible expressly commands the sanctity of marriage...
It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 1 Corinthians 7:1,2
Born-again Christians obey God’s divine institution of marriage and do not live in fornication; they do not have children out of wedlock. Woe unto you, Evangelicals!... You have made your churches sanctuaries for sin and sinners – fornication and fornicators! You have made your churches synagogues of Satan! Repent! Fornication may be acceptable in your church. And fornication may be acceptable in Evangelical churches in America. But fornication is not acceptable in the kingdom of God. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
