Randy White's $4.4 MIL Black Lie

Without Walls Randy White reveals to The Christian Post the $4.4 MIL sale of property:

According to White, a part of the Without Walls property is being sold for $4.4 million to a condominium developer, which will help lower the church's debt. He further announced that he would personally be giving $10,000 to the church and urged congregants to help reach the goal of $300,000 to "pay off all accounts payable debt." Responding to the media on why he asks for offerings so frequently, he said simply, "We need it."

Previously, on June 26th, White boasted to The Christian Post that he sold a piece of property and would build a new Tampa sanctuary.

But a few days later, on July 10th, White told a black lie ( a $4.4 MIL lie) to The Ledger...he's broke and cannot repair Without Walls Central in Lakeland.  And Randy White has allowed historic Carpenters Home to go to ruin by failing to secure and maintain the property. 

Now that he has $4.4 MIL, White needs to repair the ruined Carpenters Home and pay his Lakeland bills.

So, Mr. White, which story is a black lie? Two different articles...two different stories.  What's the truth...prosperity or poverty?

Randy White is returning to pastor Without Walls International Church in Tampa, Florida.  And White wants to revive Without Walls Central Church in nearby Lakeland.  Recently, he begged for money to repair the Lakeland property damaged by vandalism and willful neglect. 

Here are excerpts from the July 10th Ledger article "Bishop Wants to Revive the Vacated Without Walls Church" (emphasis added):

White, who recently returned to preaching at the Tampa church after a three-year sabbatical, issued a plea Tuesday for pledges to help restore the damaged church and school buildings at 777 Carpenter's Way. Services have not been held in the cavernous sanctuary since last summer, and power was disconnected last August.

"We're getting a lot of calls from the (Lakeland) community saying, 'Can we assist in getting the building back online?' " White said. "So I wanted the community to know we have not abandoned them, and it's my heart's desire to see that building up and operational. Right now we just do not have the money. I've given everything I can possibly give. That's why I'm reaching out to the community."

White made it clear this is likely the last chance to revive the Lakeland church. He said he is selling his house and has drained his retirement funds to help support Without Walls International.

"This is the greatest obstacle I've ever faced, other than my daughter's death," White said. "We're at a very critical position. I use this analogy: It's like a man in the ICU; he's in critical condition, on life support. And I need someone to come in and give it that shot in the arm."

The Lakeland property has been in danger of foreclosure for several years. White said the mortgage holder, California-based Evangelical Christian Credit Union, recently agreed to modify the mortgage, letting Without Walls pay only interest. That reduces the church's obligation from about $68,000 a month to $26,000.

Even with the modification, White said Without Walls is two months behind on the Lakeland mortgage.

He said he has made appeals to his prominent pastor friends, including T.D. Jakes, Bob D'andrea and Joyce Meyer, for financial support. He said Without Walls is willing to open its financial ledgers to prove it will handle donations responsibly.

Randy White said he feels chagrined about the decline of the Lakeland church.

"I think it's an indictment against the body of Christ to let that building go as it's going," White said. "As the leader of this organization, I take full responsibility - although I was not in the position to lead at that particular time when things started going south - I still, at the end of the day, want to ask Lakeland, as I apologize, to forgive us for letting that go the way that it has. I love Lakeland and I think it's a great city and I just want them to be patient with us."

Now, pay close attention...

Just days before on June 26th, White tells a completely different story to The Christian Post: "Randy White Returns; Tells Without Walls 'Forget the Past'."  In this article, White brags about recently selling a large piece of land and boasts with this prosperity he will build a new large sanctuary in Tampa.  Here are excerpts...

Late last year, reports indicated that Without Walls' sister church in Lakeland was abandoned. Electricity was cut off due to missing payments and a worship service has reportedly not been held at the property for months.

Randy White announced Sunday that their debt has been reduced from millions of dollars to now $300,000 (excluding the mortgage) and that he plans to "retire all debt" by the 15th of July with the help of the congregation.

He also reported that they sold a "large piece of property that's going to allow the church to build a new sanctuary."

"Can you imagine walking into that lobby and the first thing you see is escalators taking you up to a brand new sanctuary, with no poles and making all this (current sanctuary) education facilities?" he described

So, Mr. White, which story is a black lie?  What's the truth...prosperity or poverty?

Randy, are you keeping the  money from the sale of the property to build a new sanctuary in Tampa; and slyly beg Lakeland to open their wallets to help you repair the buildings you willfully neglected?  In the past, Bay News 9, The Ledger, and Susan Puzio and I have all reported on the vandalism of the property.

Lakeland is my hometown. 

You said in The Ledger: "I love Lakeland and I think it's a great city and I just want them to be patient with us."

Well, Randy, I love Lakeland and I think it's a great city and I just want you to be truthful with us.
