Public Schools and the Downfall of America

Every day this school year, over 56 million children will be marched off to elementary and secondary public schools for a dumbed-down curriculum and indoctrinated with socialist/humanist propaganda.


Who’s to blame? We are…American taxpayers.


Taxpayer dollars fund the public education that is causing the downfall of America.


But we remain silent.


We remain silent as multiculturalism – another name for polytheism, or idolatry – is taught in schools.


We remain silent as sexual perversion, licentiousness, and the anti-Biblical family is taught to our children as alternative lifestyles: living “outside the box” and other “progressive” life choices.


We remain silent about “progressive” propaganda indoctrinating our children to replace American patriotism with globalism.


We remain silent about the $654 billion that will be wasted this year on low academic standards to make everyone intellectually equal at a low level. Yes, $654 billion - taxpayer dollars!


And the list of public education’s diabolical warfare to cause the downfall of America goes on and on and on…


Admittedly, the entertainment industry and false Christian leaders like Rick Warren are also to blame for the downfall of America. But we're talking about our taxpayer dollars.


It’s time for God-fearing Christians to speak up and demand our politically-correct schools be reformed before it’s too late.


Before it’s too late…


The socialist/humanist propaganda of schools must be stopped.


Reforming public education on a Biblical foundation is of profound national importance for the safety and welfare of our country.



I. Ignorance is Dangerous


Anyone who argues our Founding Fathers intended education must be separated from religion and morality is ignorant of American history. And ignorance is dangerous.


In 1787 the Congress of the United States decreed in the Northwest Ordinance…


Religion, morality, and knowledge being necessary
to good government and the happiness of mankind,
schools and the means of education shall be forever encouraged

Note the Ordinance states that because “religion, morality, and knowledge” are necessary for good government and the happiness of mankind, schools shall be forever encouraged. It does not say “knowledge” only. Religion, morality, and knowledge are indivisible. Clearly, the Ordinance intended public schools to teach religion, morals, and knowledge.


And George Washington's Farewell Address proclaimed:


   Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked: Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice ? And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.

It is substantially true that virtue or morality is a necessary spring of popular government. The rule, indeed, extends with more or less force to every species of free government. Who that is a sincere friend to it can look with indifference upon attempts to shake the foundation of the fabric?

Promote then, as an object of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge. In proportion as the structure of a government gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion should be enlightened.


Washington wisely understood: "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports...Promote then, as an object of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge. In proportion as the structure of a government gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion should be enlightened." Only a fool would challenge Washington's wisdom.


Sadly, many Christian Americans are ignorant about the Christian founding of our nation. Their ignorance allowed godless men and women to take over public education and turn it into socialist/communist/humanist indoctrination.


Ignorance must be replaced with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Christians must educate themselves about America’s Christian foundation and heritage.


Our Founding Fathers were Christians.


Our Founding Fathers were not Muslims.


Our Founding Fathers were not Buddhists. 


Our Founding Fathers were not Hindus. 


Our Founding Fathers were not humanists.


And so forth…


Some argue Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson were Deists instead of Christians. Deists believe God created the universe, set it in motion, assumed no control over life, exerted no influence on natural phenomena, and gave no supernatural revelation. And Deists do not believe in a God who takes a personal interest in each of us.


But Benjamin Franklin declared…


Let me then not fail to praise my God continually, for it is his Due, and it is all I can return for his many Favours and great Goodness to me; and let me resolve to be virtuous, that I may be happy, that I may please Him, who is delighted to see me happy. Amen.


And Thomas Jefferson attended and gave donations to a number of different churches in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and in Charlottesville.

Moreover, our national monuments clearly proclaim America's Christian heritage...

In the Washington Monument not only are numerous Bible verses and religious acknowledgements carved on memorial blocks in the walls, including the phrases: “Holiness to the Lord” (
Exodus 28:26; 30:30; Isaiah 23:18, Zechariah 14:20), “Search the Scriptures” (John 5:39), “The memory of the just is blessed” (Proverbs 10:7), “May Heaven to this Union continue its beneficence,” and “In God We Trust”, but the Latin inscription Laus Deo – “Praise be to God” – is engraved on the monument’s capstone.


Could this be the real reason we are no longer allowed to climb the stairway? Liberals want to hide from public view the evidence engraved in stone proving America’s Christian heritage.


Additionally, the Treaty of Paris, signed on September 3, 1783, ended the Revolutionary War between Great Britain and the United States and its allies. The Treaty opens with the following words:


"In the name of the most holy and undivided Trinity."


Sounds like Christianity to me.


Go back to the beginning of American history, year after year and document after document proves the intent of our forefathers for America to be a Christian nation.


Go back to the First Charter of Virginia, 1606: 

We, greatly commending, and graciously accepting of, their Desires for the Furtherance of so noble a Work, which may, by the Providence of Almighty God, hereafter tend to the Glory of his Divine Majesty, in propagating of Christian Religion to such People, as yet live in Darkness and miserable Ignorance of the true Knowledge and Worship of God, and may in time bring the Infidels and Savages, living in those parts, to human Civility, and to a settled and quiet Government: DO, by these our Letters Patents, graciously accept of, and agree to, their humble and well-intended Desires;...

And go back to the Mayflower Compact, 1620:


Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia;... 


And go back to the Charter of Massachusetts Bay, 1629:


...and for the directing, ruling, and disposeing of all other Matters and Thinges, whereby our said People, Inhabitants there, may be soe religiously, peaceablie, and civilly governed, as their good Life and orderlie Conversacon, maie wynn and incite the Natives of Country, to the KnowIedg and Obedience of the onlie true God and Saulor of Mankinde, and the Christian Fayth, which in our Royall Intencon, and the Adventurers free Profession, is the principall Ende of this Plantacion.


And go back to the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut, 1639:


...and well knowing where a people are gathered together the word of God requires that to maintain the peace and union of such a people there should be an orderly and decent Government established according to God, to order and dispose of the affairs of the people at all seasons as occasion shall require; do therefore associate and conjoin ourselves to be as one Public State or Commonwealth; and do for ourselves and our successors and such as shall be adjoined to us at any time hereafter, enter into Combination and Confederation together, to maintain and preserve the liberty and purity of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus which we now profess, as also, the discipline of the Churches, which according to the truth of the said Gospel is now practiced amongst us;...

And go back to the Articles of Confederation of the United Colonies of New England, 1643:


Whereas we all came into these parts of America with one and the same end and aim, namely, to advance the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy the liberties of the Gospel in purity with peace;...


And go back to the Constitution of Virginia, 1776:


SEC. 16. That religion, or the duty which we owe to our Creator, and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence; and therefore all men are equally entitled to the free exercise of religion, according to the dictates of conscience; and that it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity towards each other. 


And go back to the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776:


We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.


And go back to the Delaware Declaration of Rights, September 1776:


SECT. 3. That all persons professing the Christian religion ought forever to enjoy equal rights and privileges in this state, unless, under colour of religion, any man disturb the peace, the happiness or safety of society.

And go back to the Constitution of Maryland, 1776:


XXXIII. That, as it is the duty of every man to worship God in such manner as he thinks most acceptable to him; all persons, professing the Christian religion, are equally entitled to protection in their religious liberty; wherefore no person ought by any law to be molested in his person or estate on account of his religious persuasion or profession, or for his religious practice; unless, under colour of religion, any man shall disturb the good order, peace or safety of the State, or shall infringe the laws of morality, or injure others, in their natural, civil, or religious rights; nor ought any person to be compelled to frequent or maintain, or contribute, unless on contract, to maintain any particular place of worship, or any particular ministry; yet the Legislature may, in their discretion, lay a general and equal tax for the support of the Christian religion; leaving to each individual the power of appointing the payment over of the money, collected from him, to the support of any particular place of worship or minister, or for the benefit of the poor of his own denomination, or the poor in general of any particular county: but the churches, chapels, glebes, and all other property now belonging to the church of England, ought to remain to the church of England forever.


And when the Constitution of the United States went into operation in 1789, political leaders did not exclude Christianity from government. Those who believe that our government is secular because the word “God” is not in the Constitution should read the 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation by President George Washington: 


WHEREAS it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the Providence of Almighty God---to obey his will---to be grateful for his benefits---and humbly to implore his protection and favour:  And whereas both Houses have, by their joint committee, requested me “to recommend to the people of the United States, a DAY of PUBLIC THANKSGIVING and PRAYER, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favours of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness . . . .


Some argue that we were not founded as a Christian nation because the First Amendment declares a separation of church and state. They are ignorant. The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States (1791) prohibits the establishment of a state religion, such as the Church of England.  In other words, the law may not establish a national church and demand mandatory attendance or mandatory tithes.  American colonists were not forced to be members of the Church of England or any other state religion; and could freely worship in the Christian church of their choice. 


Amendment I


Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Incidentally, “separation of church and state” is not in any governing document but was used by Thomas Jefferson in a letter to a Baptist congregation assuring them the government would not interfere with church affairs.


Unquestionably, America was founded by Christians and for Christians.  Of course, there are countless other documents providing evidence that America was founded by Christians for Christians.  But here are excerpts from documents ranging from the years 1606 -1791, almost a 200-year span, providing irrefutable evidence that our Founding Fathers intended America to be a Christian nation.


And continuing through the decades of American history, we find in the inaugural addresses and speeches of the Presidents, and in the original Constitution of all of our fifty states, references to the Christian God – the Creator of our Christian liberty.


Undeniably, our Founding Fathers wisely understood the Scripture…


Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Psalm 33:12


Just as God gave the ancient Hebrews the Promised Land to establish as a righteous nation, God gave our Christian forefathers the New Promised Land - America - to establish as a righteous nation. And they determined to found America on the Rock of Jesus Christ. In their hearts was a reverence for Christian education, and they built schools for teaching the four R’s: Religion, Reading, ‘Riting, and ‘Rithmetic.


Anyone who argues public education must be separated from religion and morality is ignorant of American history.


Ignorance is dangerous.



II. Christians Enacted Compulsory Education


Our Christian forefathers understood the importance of education. And the aim of early American education was to train up men and women who applied the Bible to their daily lives by following its rules of conduct. In fact, Christians established compulsory education in the United States.


EDUCATION, Compulsory. The doctrine of Calvinism from its earliest beginnings included the fundamental principle that each person should be able to read. Under that doctrine religious matters were held to be of vital concern to every person as well as to the nation and each individual was held to be personally accountable for his own conduct. The Bible contained the rules of conduct which should regulate the lives of all people. Each person was, therefore, expected to be able to read that book and not to be dependent upon others for a knowledge of its teachings and of the personal obligations which such teachings imposed.

Note that Calvinistic Puritans believed religious matters were of vital concern to every person as well as to the nation. Therefore, each person was expected to be able to read and understand the Bible and not be dependent upon others for its teachings. The Puritans also believed the Biblical rules of conduct should regulate their lives.


The article goes on to explain that in countries which were under the control of the Calvinists, the basic principles of compulsory education laws were first established. In the Netherlands, for more than 150 years before the Dutch began to make settlements in America, public schools had been maintained in that country. The education of the masses through these schools which were public schools had been the bulwark of the liberties of the people and the national freedom of the country. The country was prosperous and happiness prevailed among the people. And when the Dutch came to America they established schools.


When the Calvinists settled in America they brought with them the spirit and life of the social institutions of their native country and wherever the Dutch settled in America they established schools which were of the type in the fatherland. These schools were administered on the same general plan on which the schools of Holland had been operated. All children were required to receive instruction. This instruction was provided by members of the family at home in many cases, often at private schools but generally in the schools established by the authorities of the company who were responsible for the regulation of the affairs of the settlement.


In 1629 the West India Company, which made settlements at Manhattan and at Albany, adopted an ordinance providing that all colonists “shall endeavor to find out ways and means whereby they may supply a minister and a schoolmaster.”


In 1642 Massachusetts passed the first American compulsory school law. And in 1647 the General Court declared that “it being one chief project of that old deluder Satan to keep men from the knowledge of the Scriptures” and in order “that learning may not be buried in the grave of our fathers in the church and commonwealth, the Lord assisting our endeavors” every town of fifty householders shall hire a schoolmaster “to teach all such children as shall resort to him to write and read” (Massachusetts School Law, 1647). This is referred to as the Old Deluder Satan Act.


The encyclopedia acknowledges the Calvinistic Puritans’ contribution to the New World:


The laws of 1642 and 1647 are important because for the first time in the English-speaking world a legislative body representing the State made education compulsory, and also because what the Calvinistic Puritans of Massachusetts established in practice has since been generally adopted by the different American states. This distinctively Calvinistic contribution to the New-World life was of large future importance.

Early Americans wisely understood religious matters are of vital concern to every person and to the nation. Hence, schools of America arose as children of the Church. From instruments of religion they have gradually been changed into instruments of the State to dumb down and indoctrinate America’s youth to rebel against morality and Christianity.


We must demand that our taxpayer dollars provide our children with a demanding academic curriculum instead of dumbed-down socialist indoctrination which includes false history, false math that teaches there are no absolutes (2+2 does not always equal 4 = there are no moral absolutes), denigration of Western civilization, and other propaganda to destroy America.


What caused the downward spiral of education that is causing the downfall of America?


The false doctrine of evolution.


After the unbiblical doctrine of evolution was planted in the hearts and minds of Americans, it bore evil fruits: moral evolution…religious evolution…cultural evolution…social evolution…political evolution.



III. Moral Evolution


Americans want to be praised as “progressive.” And public education prides itself on being “progressive” and “modern” and “scientific.” Part of this pride is to ridicule morals as being old-fashioned, outdated, and unscientific. Hence, hand in hand with the doctrine of evolution schools teach moral evolution.


First, how “progressive” is the doctrine of evolution? The truth is ancient people believed in evolution.  In the early Greek civilization, Thales (640? – 546 B.C.) considered all living things to have sprung from water, and Anaximander (611 - 547 B.C.) believed that when an originally liquid earth began drying, it produced living things, man first of all. So, how is the theory of evolution "progressive" and "modern" and "scientific"?


Of course, evolution is taught in schools because it is directly antagonistic to that of creation. The Americanized Encyclopaedia Britannica (1890) states:


It is clear that the doctrine of evolution is directly antagonistic to that of creation. Just as the biological doctrine of the transmutation of species is opposed to that of special creations, so the idea of evolution as applied to the world as a whole, is opposed to that of a direct creative volition.… it is an arbitrary formation of the world versus direct creative act volition by God.


More important...


As a scientific doctrine, whatever its ultimate interpretation, evolution has a bearing on our practical, i.e., moral and religious ideas. Among other results, this doctrine may be said to give new form to the determinist theory of volition, and to establish the relativity of all moral ideas as connected with particular stages of social development.


The doctrine of evolution teaches the relativity of all moral ideas as connected with particular stages of social development…moral evolution. And schools indoctrinate children with the false doctrine of moral evolution.

Moral evolution teaches evolving away from morality and tolerating promiscuity, transvestitism, homosexuality and other sexual perversions as acceptable behavior. Morality is denounced as primitive, old-fashioned and outdated. Moral evolution teaches there are no rules of right conduct: “Don’t judge.” Moral evolution teaches the progressive doctrine that we are free from moral restraints. In other words, we are free to form our opinions independent of authority or tradition. Of course, independence of authority especially includes Biblical authority.

With taxpayer dollars, freethinkers use schools to incite children to rebel against morality, authority, tradition and religion.

What a contrast to the early public schools!

In the early days, American schoolbooks were permeated with religion, duty, and rules of civility. Schoolbooks in the 1600s and 1700s included catechisms, primers, spellers, and Latin grammars. In 1790 Noah Webster’s Little Reader’s Assistant contained stories with moral lessons and dialogues giving rules of behavior. In the nineteenth century, the McGuffey Reader reflected the moral spirit of the age. The Reader taught promptness, goodness, kindness, honesty, truthfulness, reverence, and piety.

Today’s schoolbooks reflect the humanist spirit of the age. They preach “values.” Values and morals are not the same.

Moral actions proceed from good or evil character.

A moral life is a life of righteousness.

Morality is obedience to God’s standard of righteousness.

Values are principles, standards, or qualities considered worthwhile or desirable by man.

Values are relative, not absolute…they are what men call good and desirable. There is no fixed standard of values.

A nation built on a moral foundation is like building a house on a solid rock.

And a nation built on values is like building a house on quicksand.

A nation without a moral foundation is doomed.

The humanist doctrine of moral evolution undermines America’s moral foundation by teaching progressive man must evolve from Biblical morals to manmade humanist values.

We have witnessed decade after decade of moral evolution.

So, are we progressing from a primitive state to a higher state?

Evolution…moral evolution…


IV. Religious Evolution

Remember what was quoted earlier…

As a scientific doctrine, whatever its ultimate interpretation, evolution has a bearing on our practical, i.e., moral and religious ideas. Among other results, this doctrine may be said to give new form to the determinist theory of volition, and to establish the relativity of all moral ideas as connected with particular stages of social development.

Undeniably, evolution has a bearing on religious ideas. Schools preach the doctrine of religious evolution that ridicules Christianity as too morally demanding and complicated by Bible doctrines that are divisive. Schools preach the humanist doctrine of religious evolution: we must unite in a one-world religion.

The doctrine of religious evolution preaches all religions must evolve and unite in the name of ecumenism. According to The American Heritage Dictionary (1980), ecumenism “is a movement seeking to achieve worldwide unity among religions through greater cooperation and improved understanding.” This worldwide unity is to be achieved by abolishing doctrines because they are divisive, therefore, we must focus on the study and welfare of human beings – humanism. Ecumenism, polytheism, multiculturalism, and humanism all mean the same thing – a one-world religion. So, who says religion is not taught in schools?

Liberals and ignorant Christians declare schools cannot teach Christianity because teaching religion in schools violates the First Amendment. But humanism is a religion…

Humanist Manifesto I (1933) states in the seventh thesis:

Religion consists of those actions, purposes, and experiences which are humanly significant . . .The distinction between the sacred and the secular can no longer be maintained.

And the ninth thesis states:

In the place of the old attitudes involved in worship and prayer the humanist finds his religious emotions expressed in a heightened sense of personal life in a cooperative effort to promote social well-being.

And in the fourteenth thesis:

The goal of humanism is a free and universal society in which people voluntarily and intelligently cooperate for the common good.

And the conclusion states:

Doesn’t this sound like the religious evolution preached in schools?

Another name for humanism is multiculturalism. Multiculturalism in schools preaches that all religions are equal. This is polytheism – the worship of many gods. Multiculturalism preaches Christianity is not the one true religion: we must coexist and unite in a one-world religion – religious humanism.

Don’t be fooled…

Religion is preached in schools.

Schools preach multiculturalism – polytheism, the worship of many gods.

Schools preach religious humanism, or religious humanitarianism – the doctrine that man may become perfect without divine aid; the doctrine that Jesus Christ possessed a human nature only.

Schools preach that man is answerable, not to a divine will, but to human conditions alone for his behavior and for his ultimate perfectibility.

But humanist wisdom is foolishness. Man can only be perfected by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

Religious evolution preaches that the highest form of religion is a humanitarian one-world religion united against true Christianity.

Religious evolution preaches that we must evolve to the highest form of religion – humanism.

Evolution…moral evolution…religious evolution…


V. Cultural Evolution

Embracing the ancient doctrine of evolution not only leads to moral evolution and religious evolution, it leads to cultural evolution. But we can clearly see and hear the overwhelming evidence around us that as modern culture “evolves” it actually goes back to primitivism and tribalism.

We hear this in secular and false Christian music with a repetitive chant and crude tribal beat.

We see Americans piercing and tattooing their bodies like primitive tribes.


What about cultural evolution in public schools?


Years ago, education included teaching children to appreciate great art. Now they are brainwashed with the evolutionary cultural standard of “don’t judge” – all art is equal. It’s all relative. They ridicule the standard of good taste insisting it’s just a matter of which style of art you prefer. There is no such thing as good art or bad art: Andy Warhol’s junk art is just as good as the masterpieces of Peter Paul Reubens.

Taste is the capacity for recognizing and appreciating what is aesthetically superior. A person with good taste is able to judge discriminately. And that’s why schools hate the standard of good taste and bad taste. It goes against their humanist slogan - “Don’t judge.”

This lack of standard of good taste in art is evidenced in school decoration. In the past, schools were encouraged to set a high standard in good taste and artistic arrangement. Teachers were generally persons of culture and had the art intelligence to beautify their classrooms. Artistic arrangement helped to make the environment refined and imparted ideas of good taste to children. For example, classrooms were tastefully decorated with framed pictures of George Washington and other great Americans. There were maps and framed reproductions of American historical documents. Sometimes sculpture and well framed copies of the masterpieces in painting were placed in classrooms and halls. And the rooms were neat and clean and orderly.

Today, the classrooms are often over-decorated with scraps, drawings, clippings, and bright-colored, cheap paper decorations that distract children and lower the standards of good taste. Unfortunately, we are witnessing the death of beauty in culture, including school culture. Now the classroom must look “awesome.” And the rooms are often untidy and dirty and disorderly.

Of course, this is all rebellion against Western civilization. It is rebellion against the standard of beauty and good taste acknowledged in advanced civilizations.


Schools no longer teach music appreciation of great composers because it implies a standard of discernment.  And children no longer sing American patriotic songs and folk songs but are forced to sing songs of various nations in the name of multiculturalism.


The welfare of society and our nation depends upon an educated citizenry. And God has entrusted us with the administration of certain duties in the development of the nation, including educating children. The main academic purpose in school is to master the lessons. Therefore, children should be encouraged to be satisfied with nothing less than mastery. For instance, elementary students must master the arts of reading and writing.

But the agenda of cultural evolution is intellectual equality at a low level…the dumbing down of America’s youth. Progressive education deliberately dumbs down education to build children’s self-esteem. Children are not required to put forth the energy to earn good grades. Instead of raising academic standards, standards are lowered so that lazy children will not have to put forth the effort to master basic lessons. Clearly, the socialist agenda is to hold back naturally intelligent children and deter children who are eager to excel.

Of course, the goal is “equality” – a "classless society" of the socialist/communist state.

Comparing schoolbooks, we can see the progressive dumbing down of America’s youth...

In colonial America, the child’s first schoolbook was the hornbook. In our sense of the word the hornbook was really no book at all. It was a leaf of paper printed on one side and pasted on a thin oak board with a stubby handle. It was mounted on wood and protected with a transparent horn. The sheet contained the alphabet in large and small letters. The vowels then formed a line, and their combinations with the consonants were given in a tabular form. The usual exorcism – “in the name of the Father and of the Sonne and of the Holy Ghost, Amen”- followed, then the Lord’s Prayer.

So, the first schoolbook was religious and children were taught to read the Lord’s Prayer.

The first book that succeeded the hornbook in general use in the schools of the colonies was The New England Primer. Printed in 1690, it was the beginning textbook for children well into the twentieth century. It was the principal text in all types of American schools: public, private, semiprivate, home, etc. In addition to the alphabet it contained a syllabarium, prayers, and religious catechisms. Each letter of the alphabet was illustrated with little blurred pictures mostly representing Biblical scenes. This book was a first-grade textbook.

Not only is the Primer more academically challenging, the lesson has merit. On the contrary, the modern lesson insults our children's intelligence: It lacks academic depth. It is not informational or inspiring.  It is frivolous and shallow. It is minimal education.

And writing had much more importance in colonial days than today. Children’s instruction in writing began at an early age. Today, penmanship is not taught in schools. Many children cannot write or read cursive writing.

Of course, other declining standards in education could be discussed, but there are many excellent articles already outlining the downfall of American education.

Remember that a dumbed-down curriculum encourages children to be lazy and encourages them to “feel” entitled to good grades without earning them.

Granted, there are plenty of smart children who graduate from public schools.  Yes, but they could be smarter!

VI. Social Evolution

The false doctrine of evolution also affects how we live together in communities by undermining the Biblical work ethic and encouraging demands of entitlement. Of course, social evolution teaches that we must evolve into socialism and then communism. Undermining the Biblical work ethic and encouraging dependence on the government - welfare, disability, and other entitlements - is the diabolical plot of public education to put Americans in bondage to socialism which is the material base for communism.

Biblical Work Ethic v. Entitlement

Schools should exist to provide training that will help boys and girls to support themselves and to become useful members of the community. Children must be taught that work has value. They must be taught to do their share of the world’s work – at home, at school, in the community, and in the nation. The mastering of work at school and at home is practice for mastering a job in the workplace, mastering the art of making your own home, and so forth.

As a student, their work in school is to master the lessons. Students must be encouraged to be satisfied with nothing less than mastery. A wise school program requires that each student train himself to do his best work.

But schools deliberately undermine the Biblical work ethic. Students feel they are entitled to good grades with minimal effort. And indulgent parents demand their child gets special treatment. Many parents get special entitlements, including monetary, by having their child diagnosed with hyperactivity or other “behavior disorders.” This not only harms the child; it is dishonest gain – thievery.

Our children are our future. And setting low behavioral standards and low academic standards and rewarding children for little or no effort trains children in laziness, welfare, and other notions of entitlement.

Lazy children are a terrible waste to a nation. And lazy children will likely be lazy adults. They will demand they are entitled to live off the fruit of the toil of others. But the community owes no one a living. On the contrary, every person owes service to the community. Everyone has the duty, and also the privilege, of earning a living. The community offers to all an opportunity to earn a living. And children must be taught this duty.

Clearly, the Bible teaches each of us is made for work.

For even when we were with you,
this we commanded you,
that if any would not work,
neither should he eat.
2 Thessalonians 3:10

Our muscles, hands, feet, and minds are all intended for service. Every bit of ability that a person has should be used for the good of himself and his neighbors. The lazy person is of no worth to himself and of no benefit to society. We must use our abilities as the Creator intended.

Social Behavior

Another result of social evolution is that children are no longer taught or expected to use good manners at school. Why? Because good manners are based on sound morals. And evolutionists despise morals.

Instead of treating faculty and staff and administration with courtesy and respect, children are allowed to be rude and disrespectful to those who have authority over them. Of course, this is part of the socialist agenda to challenge authority and cause chaos and disorder in the classroom. For when there’s chaos and disorder in the classroom, students don’t learn.

Certainly, an entire book could be written on how social evolution has affected social behavior.

VII. Political Evolution

But the false doctrine of evolution teaches that we must “evolve” into a politically-correct nation. Political correctness is the ideology of anarchists, malcontents, lunatics, idiots, perverts, psychopaths, rebels, and other demoniacs against law and order.


The Old School trained children to be good citizens. Children were taught that political liberty must keep within the bounds of the civil law, and personal liberty must keep within the bounds of the moral law.

Today's New School trains children to rebel against authority in the name of “liberty.”

According to Noah Webster’s American Dictionary of the English Language (1828), “Civil liberty, is the liberty of men in a state of society, or natural liberty, so far only abridged and restrained, as is necessary and expedient for the safety and interest of the society, state or nation.”

But schools teach children that “liberty” is freedom from government and its laws, freedom from established institutions, freedom from morals, and everything good and pure that makes a civilized society. They don’t really teach liberty…they teach anarchy in “the land of the free.”

The land of the free” is corrupted by anarchists and other demoniacs as the land of the unrestrained. In the name of “liberty” many evils are committed: licentiousness, gambling, drunkenness, and other immorality that is not only against the welfare and safety of the individual, but is also against the public welfare and safety.

The land of the free” is also corrupted by socialists who demand the lazy and “disabled” – drunks, drug addicts, and other burdens on the community and state - are entitled to government handouts. Again, their diabolical mission is to get as many as possible in bondage to the government and evolve into a communist regime.

Unity v. Diversity

Part of political evolution is to teach children to despise American patriotism and embrace globalism. This is a deliberate and diabolical plot to transform America from an independent republic into a multicultural country as part of a one-world government. This is why children are indoctrinated with multiculturalism. It is a diabolical plot to destroy American heritage and culture and replace it with multiculturalism. Multiculturalism denigrates Western civilization and exalts inferior cultures. But all cultures are not equal. How absurd to insist a cannibalistic culture is equal to a Christian culture!

Multiculturalism demands we allow all immigrants into America. Multiculturalists work to destroy American heritage and culture by flooding our country with immigrants who have no desire to become Americanized.

In years past, schools taught children to love this country and sang patriotic songs, recited patriotic poems, celebrated American holidays, and so forth. Today – in the name of diversity - students are indoctrinated with globalism, including multicultural literature and songs; and children are not allowed to celebrate Christmas, Easter, and other American and Christian holidays. They are renamed “Winter Holiday,” “Spring Holiday,” and other secular days instead of their rightful celebration as national holidays.

Simply put, schools denounce American patriotism and praise globalism in the name of diversity.

But diversity is unbiblical.

Jesus warns us:

Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation;
and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand
Matthew 12:25

Clearly, Jesus warns us that diversity is dangerous.

The United States was once a nation strengthened by the unity of a common life – the same language, the same customs and traditions, the same love of a common past.  But now we are a nation weakened by a diversity of cultures.

Scores of immigrants flooding into our country have no intention of learning English.  They have no intention of adopting our customs and traditions. And they have no intention of sharing our love of a common past.  They demand the rights and benefits of living in America, but they refuse to become Americanized. They insist on remaining segregated.  They divide the nation. 

National peace and prosperity depend on unity:  the nation must be of one heart and one mind.  And just as family unity is destroyed if family members are not of one heart and one mind, national unity is destroyed if citizens are not of one heart and one mind.  Again, Jesus warns us: "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand."

As you know, the Bible commands each of us to love our neighbor as ourselves. This is both Old Testament and New Testament law. Old Testament law commands: “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself:  I am the Lord” (Leviticus 19:18).  Jesus also commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39). 

However, the Bible doesn’t command us to love our neighbors more than ourselves. To love our neighbors more than ourselves or our family is foolishness and self-destructive.  Self-care and self-defense are not unbiblical.  We are responsible for our own welfare, as well as the welfare of others. 

And the commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves is one of mutual love; and is equally binding on the immigrant. Therefore, immigrants who become our neighbors must love us and promote the best interests of the local and national neighborhood.  Immigrants must unite with us and be of one heart and one mind.  In other words, they must agree to a covenant of unity - to be a Good Neighbor.  As a Good Neighbor, the immigrant must come to America with the intent to promote the welfare of his family, the community, and the nation.  In other words, the immigrant must come to America with the intent to promote unity and become a Good Neighbor – a true American citizen.

As Americans, we have important duties: to love, be loyal to, defend, support, and raise the ideals of the nation; to be law-abiding; to cooperate with the government; to be self-supporting; to use our time and property to promote the general welfare; and to pass on to future generations at least as good a nation as we received from our forefathers.

So, do immigrants coming to our nation intend to fulfill their duties as American citizens?

Do immigrants intend to love, be loyal to, defend, support, and raise the ideals of America? 

Do immigrants intend to be law-abiding citizens? 

Do immigrants intend to cooperate with the government?

Do immigrants intend to be self-supporting? 

Do immigrants intend to use their time and property to promote the general welfare? 

Do immigrants intend to pass on to future generations at least as good a nation as we received from our forefathers?


Would you welcome someone into your home to live with your family that is going to cause division and strife and destroy your family unity?  Of course not.  You strive to protect your family from outside destructive forces.  So, why would you welcome immigrants into our country who refuse to share our American ideals and culture; and cause division and strife to destroy our national unity?

Unquestionably, schools should promote unity. Schools must Americanize immigrant children. Schools must teach immigrant children to love this country and become united with us in the spirit of America.

Incidentally, academic standards are lowered as part of “inclusion.” They lower the academic standards to accommodate immigrant children. Instead of making immigrant children work hard to master the lessons, they dumb down the lessons and hold back the children who desire to be challenged to their full academic potential.

Additionally, diversity indoctrination includes choosing your own gender, embracing homosexuality, unnatural/ unbiblical families, and other abominable and immoral indoctrination to destroy America.

In the name of diversity…

Schools indoctrinate children with anti-American propaganda that denigrates American culture and heritage and upholds multiculturalism.

In the name of diversity…

Schools indoctrinate children to engage in open rebellion against morality.


The ultimate goal of school indoctrination is the destruction of America.

Patriotism v. Treason

Years ago, the patriotic training in schools endeavored to steep immigrant children in American traditions and ideals. The purpose of the training was national unity, or national spirit – the spirit of America.

Some immigrants do not come to America to become true Americans and work for the nation’s best interests. They come to beg, to steal, to make trouble, or to harm us. They are lunatics, idiots, criminals, professional beggars, anarchists, those who cannot or will not earn their own bread, and other objectionable and undesirable persons. Many immigrants have no intention of becoming American patriots.

A patriot is a person who loves his country, and zealously defends it and its interests. A true patriot is concerned with his country’s public safety and welfare. He daily contributes to the best interests of his nation by being an industrious, law-abiding, God-fearing citizen.

There are many Americans who consider themselves patriotic because they fly the American flag, stand for the national anthem, and so forth. But they rob the taxpayers by living on welfare and disability, despise national morality, and are too selfish to work for the best interests of their nation. They are false patriots.

True patriots daily contribute to the best interests of our community and our nation.

A true patriot…

Maintains a happy and well-ordered home – neatness, cleanliness, economical management, wholesome food, and the godly rearing of children; an attractive and well-kept home and yard to increase the property value of the neighborhood.

Believes religious matters are of vital concern to every person as well as to the nation. Therefore, a true patriot reads the Bible and prays for understanding so he is not dependent upon others for its teachings.

Regulates his life by Biblical rules of conduct.

Understands the important role of true churches in the community and attends a Bible-believing church with reverent and holy worship that truly glorifies God.

Uses his gifts and talents for the glory of God.

Bases his actions on sound judgment – not emotion – concerning our national safety and welfare.

And so forth…

However, schools indoctrinate children with anti-patriotism.

They are taught that American customs and traditions and ideals must be cast down.

Children are taught to defend immigrants and be unconcerned about America’s national safety and welfare.

This is political evolution.

This is treason.

Every day schools commit treason against the United States…

Schools are guilty of levying warfare against the United States by indoctrinating students with anti-American propaganda.

Schools are guilty of levying warfare against the United States by indoctrinating students to overthrow our republican government and replace it with a one-world government of socialism/communism.

Schools are guilty of levying warfare against the United States by indoctrinating students to adhere to the immigrant enemies of America, giving them aid and comfort. This is disguised as “compassion.”

Schools are guilty of levying warfare against the United States by indoctrinating students to replace the old spirit of America – patriotism – with the new spirit of America – globalism.

Political evolution is a treasonous doctrine that trains our children to be traitors and deliver our country to its enemies.


VIII. Public Schools and Evolving America

The welfare of society and our nation depends upon an educated citizenry. And God has entrusted us with the administration of certain duties in the development of the nation, including educating children. For decades, our public schools have taught evolution and its evil fruits: moral evolution…religious evolution…cultural evolution…social evolution…political evolution.

So, has America evolved into a more civilized nation?

Look around at Progressive New America: high school graduates lack basic reading comprehension and writing skills;  rampant mental illness; rebellion against the Biblical work ethic; adultery as the marital norm; increase in violent crimes; promiscuity resulting in a sexually transmitted disease epidemic; destruction of the Biblical family; popularizing primitive culture with tribal music and tattoos and body piercing; junk art praised as "awesome"; polite conversation replaced with profanity accepted as the social norm; pride in debauchery and all sexual perversions; school and workplace massacres; bad manners; violent protests causing destruction of property akin to tribal warfare; replacing beautiful and sacred church music with "Christian" rock 'n' roll; murdering unborn babies; and other regressions to an ignorant, debauched, brutal, rowdy, crude, rebellious, evil society.

We are regressing to ignorance and primitivism and barbarism.

The evidence is overwhelming: America is falling to ruin because schools indoctrinate children with socialist/humanist propaganda, including evolution.

Who’s to blame? We are…American taxpayers.

Taxpayer dollars fund the public education that is causing the downfall of America.


It’s time for God-fearing Christians to speak up and demand our politically-correct schools be reformed.


Before it’s too late…


The socialist/humanist propaganda of schools must be stopped.


Reforming public education on a Biblical foundation is of profound national importance for the safety and welfare of our country.
